He can take his services else where at this point because he's a over paid under achiever in my book.

I wonder if we can trade Cundiff for a pick. Any pick is good. Heck maybe we can fleece the Jets for a 5th rounder.
Doubt it. Not too many are gonna by vying for his services and they gotta know he'll be hitting the open market soon.

Interesting thing on the Salary Cap. Cutting Cundiff would eliminate his $2.2 Million base salary, but also carry $600,000 in dead weight this year and $1.8 Million in dead weight in 2013. The Ravens would save $1.21 Million in salary cap this year.

Tucker meanwhile is signed to a 3 year contract with salarys of... $390,000 in 2012, $480,000 in 2013, and $570,000 in 2014.

"...I am 12 for 13 in the playoffs"

When was that miss, Billy? What yardage was it? Oh, okay!

I know really. Just such arrogance.

Dude has a massive blunder that cost the team a championship game (no one play is the only reason for the loss, but this was a big one) and he has the nerve to sound off.

Then again, I would do the same thing...damn!

After seeing that video I don't feel sorry for him anymore. I can't wait for him to be cut. Dude has money, he'll be fine. I just can't wait to move foward from him. I have a feeling everyone in the locker room does too.

The only dude that probably talks to him is Curtis Painter lol.

Jesus, Billy. How's that confidence doing? He looks like he's going to cry throughout that whole interview. Looking forward to seeing him get cut, though. The Ravens don't have time for someone who would rather feel bad for himself than try to compete.

I found it amusing how Billy said "inside of 50 yards I'm 90%.". He left out how horrible he is outside of 50.
Even funnier how he only used the last two years because 2010 helped his horrible numbers from last year.

2010 helped his horrible numbers from last year and every year before 2010. Billy's 2010 is the quintessential outlier

Tucker should get the job. He can kick longer field goals, he's younger, and will be around a lot longer. We can grab a nice fresh leg now, probably cheap. Cntkick has PROVEN he cant take the pressure.

Tucker is more accurate and will cost much less. If Billy is our kicker this season, I will lose a lot of faith in the FO and coaching staff.

Yeah exactly. 12 for 13 is nice and all but when that one miss is a crucial clutch Kick in the AFC Championship game, everything you have done goes out the window.

Its not just us fans who are watching, the players can see what's happening too. How many times this preseason has Harbaugh said "the best players will play"? If he is true to his word we know who our kicker will be.

I don't blame Billy for his comments. People trash him all the time and didn't appreciate what he did just what he didn't do.

This is a "What Have you done for me lately" league and a Kicker is only as good as his last Kick, and what was Cundiff's last Kick? Right... bye bye Billy.

He gave us a great season in 2010. What he cost us far outweighs what he did for us.
Like JO_75 said, this is a "What have you done for me lately" league.
Listen pirate, everybody knows it. You know it. It's time to back down.

Well, yeah. That's how life works, isn't it? You are expected to do your job, and do it well.. When you don't do your job well, you get fired.

Naturally, Billy is entitled to express his frustration, but it was a really bone-headed thing to say, with his job, very obviously, on the line, assuming he thought he might still have a chance to be our kicker. He cherry-picked his stats to made them sound better than they are and sounded whiney and petulant. Is it Monday yet? I so want this guy to be gone.

Let me just say that I would love to see Tucker aboard. Cundiff's comments aside, can anyone name the last time Cundiff made a FG from 50+ yards out?? I sure cant.

And what exactly has Cundiff done for us again?

Other than shanking right, that is.

Thats why it was so convenient that during his rant he was sure to say he's 90% accurate on "kicks inside of 50 yards". Too bad todays NFL demands teams have kickers capable of making long kicks.

Billy shouldn't be complaining.

He is one of the highest paid kickers in the league.

His 2011 stats didn't justify his paycheck, but it's already done.

He should be happy even if we cut him because he will still get paid from us.

Confidence is everything and we all knew why Harbaugh rarely sent the kicking team to try out 50 yarders last couple years.

Somebody behind me at the game Thursday said that Billy was in the locker room packing his bags after that 53 yarder. Then, somebody else was whining that JT wasn't putting the kickoffs behind the end zone. He promptly did put the next three there. And the fourth was a definite touchback in the endzone. So much for that. People were really into Justin Tucker, I can tell you.

Well he did give us a decent year in 2009 and a great one in 2010.
Even I must admit I was on the Cundiff bandwagon then.

to be a good kicker you must be able to kick from any where thats including from some distance and billy was only good from inside the 40 but you need a kicker that has a shot kicking from 50+ and have a good attempt at them also you need to be good under pressure last year might of been just bad luck on billys side but you NEED TO MAKE THAT YOU ARE A NFL KICKER while justin has had kicks in pressure in college and he can kick from 50+ so tucker should be the kicker i like billy as a kicker but its whats best for the team

Based on hensley we'll save 1.8million dollar if we cut Cundiff b4 season starts.

Oh and does anyone else notice the thing he does with his fingers is exactly what Matt Stover used to do?
I noticed that too. Maybe he is a clone of Matt Stover?
