I wonder if we can trade Cundiff for a pick. Any pick is good. Heck maybe we can fleece the Jets for a 5th rounder.

Sorry, the first round of cuts don't happen until 4pm on Monday, not today. Harbaugh said that they already know what Billy is capable of and wanted to give Justin more game time. The last time he said that was about Kyle Boller but Boller was injured that year so it's hard to say what it means. This kicking competition could either way.

Just listened to Preston on the Norris Morning Show and Preston says Cundiff is gone!

Not that whatever Preston says should be taken as gospel but still.....

A "must" listen video!!! Lesson #1 Never talk to the media when you're mad!

Cundiff says: "I'll take my services elswhere." Whew Billy, not a good move. All kicking issues aside, from a PR standpoint alone I think after this Cundiff just sealed his own fate!!!

83.3 at UT.
Yeah that's only out of 47 kicks though, if you add in his 5/5 preseason kicks so far then he's 86.5% career. Or if you want to get really crazy we can factor in his 96/103 training camp kicks and he's 141/155 which is 90.9% between college, training camp, and three preseason games

I think it says something that apparently Billy feels he just lost his job. I wish him the best whereever he goes.

Welcome Tucker!

Sorry but this kid just has it all. Perfect onlsides kick, tackles (because our ST coverage still sucks) perfect on kicks outside 50 yds. Sorry Billy.

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that Tucker can also punt the ball well. I'm not saying Koch is in danger of losing his job but it is never hurts to have a backup plan if Koch would get hurt.

Hi. My name is Joe. I am a Ravenholic. I wake up in the morning with the Ravens on my mind. I go through my days with the Ravens on my mind. When I lie my head down at night, the Ravens are on my mind. I've always supported the Ravens front office. Why? Because they have a proven track record and certainly, they know more than I, in all things football. I admit I sometimes support them blindly. I've supported Billy Cundiff 100%, even after "the kick". I've even gone so far to down-vote numerous pro-Tucker posts. I apologize to all those I have hurt.

When I woke up this morning and heard Billy's "...I'll take my services elsewhere" comment, it hit me like a fifth of 151. Why couldn't he just keep his mouth shut or take the high-road? His comments are the equivalent of posting while drunk. Why did he have to get behind the mic and go careening toward my loyalty? I say it's time that we cut the Cundiff cord and we all move forward in our recovery.

I feel like I've reached another milestone in my recovery, and I know that my belief in Justin, will guide me through the harrowing journey of my recovery.

God bless Mother Tucker!

Hey! Some of my greatest thoughts come out when I'm drunk. Watch yourself, mister.

Me too. In the head, out the mouth, or onto the message board during my binges. Usually it's pretty funny and harmless, but every now and again. . . .

Maybe this has been mentioned somewhere in these 30+ pages, but did anyone notice last night that Tucker was having problems hitting the endzone at first during kick offs?
Then all of a sudden...WHAM! He was nailing them. Odd???

BTW, love Tucker!

The coaching staff didn't want him to kick the ball too deep, so that the special team guys could get some work in covering the returns.

Yeah, when he put it deep into the EZ after his 53 yard FG Harbs was upset.

I’m not ready a Cundiff hater, but I must say it’s time for Billy to go. He’s a journeyman kicker that had a good year or two. I believe he will be a victim of being matched by a much cheaper options. It’s going to be a little scary going into the year with a rookie kicker, but this kid made me a believer. Billy, if you just had hit that kick in the AFC championship, things could be different.

May be a little early, but welcome to the team Tucker!!!

I found it amusing how Billy said "inside of 50 yards I'm 90%.". He left out how horrible he is outside of 50.

I wasn't for or against Billy until those comments. its about what's best for the team and comments like that prove he's only playing for one team and that's his own. Really disrespectful to his supporters.

Last night was the first time I've seen Tucker in action. I was impressed. He has confidence and has that veteran swagger to him. With the exception of not kicking it short for ST plays, he was solid the whole game. His ST tackling is just a bonus.

I honestly believe that this is the kicker to move forward with this season. Especially given the Cundiff PR gaff.

after looking at the numbers, he was lying about the 90%.

Two things I really like about Tucker: 1) We won't likely have to search for another kicker for 10+ years. 2) We have an excellent chance of coming away with points if we get stopped around the opponent's 40 yard line. With Cundiff, we had to get to around their 30 to have a chance. That 53 yarder last night looked like it may have been good from 65+.
