Cundiff's home field goal record is 75 / 92 = 81.5% ...
17 misses. Don't know where you got zero from.

He's 33 / 35 at home as a Raven, which is good, but also doesn't qualify as "never missed at home".

He's 33 / 39 in the 4th quarter or overtime. 6 misses there, again, don't know where you got "never missed in the 4th quarter" from. These numbers don't count post-season, by the way. Just regular season (so the miss in the AFCCG doesn't count here).

Your defense of Cundiff doesn't seem based in reality to me, as you go on spouting untrue "facts".
Last year in the 4th quarter he only missed one. Sorry I didnt mean his entire career.

To be fair to Billy, he showed up today...

"Billy Cundiff made kicks from 29, 34, 41, 52, 58 and 61. Justin Tucker went 5 for 6. Missed his 61-yard attempt wide right. #Ravens -- Goob Kris Jones (@RavenManiac)"

Billy made a 61 yarder? This is a cruel joke right?

Lol yeah I think Billy is getting a little angry. Watch out now. Lol

To be fair, Tucker has been more consistent and has more good days than Cundiff, who shows up whenever he feels like it. We need consistency, not a Kicker who will show up whenever he feels like making field goals.

The last 2 days Tucker has missed 2. Cundiff is starting something.

Cundiff missed more than that in one day and has lost pretty much every day of camp.

The only reason Cundiff could make the team over Tucker is politics. Tucker is better.

He's missed two? Cundiff has missed more than two field goals throughout Training Camp. Not in the last two days, he has missed more field goals than Tucker. Tucker has been more consistent on a daily basis. This is the first day I heard where Cundiff had a good day, but again just because he had a good TWO DAYS is nothing compared to Tucker's performance for the ENTIRE Training Camp.

Starting something? He knew this was a competition, if he wanted to win this job he should have started something when Training Camp began and showed the coaches he can be consistent. Tucker has been the only Kicker to do that SINCE the BEGINNING of Camp.

Lose the attitude. I'm all for Tucker being our kicker if you check my previous posts!

Like I said, at the end of the day it's got to come down to money. If Tucker is as good as Billy, it just makes more sense to keep him at a much lower salary.

Tucker all the way.

"The best player plays"...then that's Tucker.

1) By FAR the Stronger leg.

2) By FAR more accurare.

3) Younger with a brighter future

4) Better attitude

5) NOT a CHOKER

6) Can do other things if needed...onside kicks and punts, tackle/save runback TD's, which you need with Rosberg's ST's

7) cheaper

Now WHY on earth would anyone go with Cundwhiff??

If you line up the positives and negatives I don't see how you choose Cundiff over Tucker. Experience might count for something, but bad experiences do as well.

What's up everyone! I am gearing up for some football, haven't been on here since the *gasp* AFC Championship game....

At any rate I didn't read the whole thread but just wanted to toss my vote in for Tucker. We know what Cundiff is capable of and it is downright scary! That right hash mark is a death sentence for Billy Cundiff.

GET HIM GONE!

Bring on the Tucker era! :)

Fixed it myself, thanks. Cursona is like that one guy who loved Troy Smith and defended him to end of the earth, except Cursona is just defending Cundiff to the end of the earth.

Tonite is the begining of the Tucker era. He'll kick well, and continue to prove that he can handle the Kicking duties. I think Cundiff will miss a Kick tonite but I'm hoping he doesn't. I'm hoping all of Cundiff's kicks are 50+ yarders, that is what we need to see from him. He feels that 50+ yarder aren't the kicks he's "supposed" to make, I beg to differ. Everytime you line up to attempt a Field Goal, your team is counting on you to make it, otherwise they wouldn't have sent you on the field. Thus making it a kick you are "Supposed" to make.

A guy like Matt Stover understood this and thus gain the confidence of his team, no matter what kicks he made or missed. Tucker seems to have that same type of approach. Everytime he lines up for a Kick he envisions himself making it, and has the confidence in his technique that he'll nail it.

Monday Aug 27, Billy Cundiff will be the most noticable name on the CUT players list.

Just saw this on Rotoworld via Baltimore Sun:
[background=transparent]Ravens K Billy Cundiff has been told by head coach John Harbaugh that the job is his to lose.[/background]
Rookie Justin Tucker has out-kicked Cundiff in practice, but both have been perfect through two exhibition games. The Baltimore Sun confirms Cundiff can lock up the job by staying clean in the final two tuneups.
