Can someone explain what the big deal about Davis is? I keep hearing him touted as a Center, but he looks like a PF to me. And he's not that good offensively. I don't understand the hype. He's not the next great NBA big man. We haven't had one of those since Shaq dominated, or Olajuwon in the 90s.

He is a PF.
Rarely do we see players coming out of college as big and talented as Davis is. He can run the floor great (which is super rare for his size) he can guard anyone, he can shot block, rebound, and he improves his offense in every game it seems.

Wizards get Beal like i wanted! YES!
Great get for the Wiz. Beal and Wall make a very solid backcourt. Their froncourt isnt bad either with solid depth.

I'm happy with the Wizards getting Beal. I'm even happier that MKG went to the Bobcats. That way when he blows up, I won't feel bad about the Wizards passing on him.

I know he looked depressed though, lmao.

Damn... the Hornets got Austin Rivers to go along with Anthony Davis.

They're going to be fun to watch next season.

Oh yeah. I'm not really into the NBA much, really don't have a team but can someone tell me exactly how the Lottery works? Is it just random drawing to see who picks where?

All of the non-playoff teams get a chance to win the top pick with the worst team having the best odds (like 25%). The next best team has a slightly lower percentage and so on. There is a drawing to see who is awarded the picks.

Sullinger didnt drop as far as i thought he would. People were saying he would drop to the 2nd round. Just got picked #21 to the Celtics.

Happy that the "hometown" Wizards were able to land Beal... he'll be a really nice player for us.

I love what the Celtics did in this draft. Took two risky players at great value.
If Sullinger can stay healthy, they'll have a formidable front line for sure... and we know Doc is gonna coach 'em up.

And if KG stays another year, Fab Melo gets to learn behind him.
...watch out.
Celtics will always be nice, they have a core of talented young players with Rondo, Bradley, Sullinger & Melo

More than likely, KG will come back. He LOVES it there. And he loves being coached by Rivers.

Magic discuss Dwight Howard trade to Nets for 3 players and 3 first round picks.

It must be tough to be a Magic fan.

At this rate, the Nets won't have a 1st round pick for the next 75 years. I don't see a trade happening between the two.

Even if they don't land Dwight, the Nets should be better next year with Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, MarShon Brooks and Brook Lopez.

Agreed. Perhaps a 7 or 8 seed. Assuming brooks keeps developing.
I think they will be a lot better than 7 or 8 seed.

I don't know. If they get Dwight then yes, possibly 3 or 4. But with the new group they have right now I think more 7 or 8. They still need to get chemistry between eachother also.

chemistry is important when it comes to winning championships, but they have too much talent on that team to barely make the playoffs. The East has gotten better, but on paper I would only say Boston and Miami are better, maybe Chicago if they get Rose back healthy. Deron Williams is one of the most underrated players in the league. Now that he has talent around him ppl will see jsut how good he is.

Bob again.. lol
Your guy had Parise as a lock to sign with the Penguins and he ended up in Minnesota.

Anyway, if this is indeed true it means one thing: the Knicks feel they can win it all now.
