I started planning this year's road trip. This year we are going to KC. Anyone ever been to Arrowhead? I would welcome some advice and suggestions.

Preceding the 2010 playoff game @KC, there were at least 1,000 Ravens fans at sports bars in the Plaza. Very active spot.

We are driving up from Arkansas with some other Ravens fans for our first trip to Arrowhead. My brother in law says it's pretty easy to get in and out of.

This is a birthday present for our son, who plays high school safety and is a huge Ray Lewis fan. Do you know if the Ravens usually schedule any time for fan interaction during away games?

I've attended about 2 dozen Ravens away games. Sometimes we hang out at the team bus, which loads up after the game. You may find a few of the players wiling to detour, to mingle with the Ravens fans. Then again, after a bruising battle or a night game, the players probably may just want to get directly on the bus. At some stadiums, security is such that one cannot get close to the visiting teams' bus.

The playoff game in '10 down there was actually my first game. I'm from central Iowa and it's a pretty short drive. I'd recommend the Holiday Inn accross the highway from the stadium. Not exactly all that close to downtown, but it was reasonably priced and it's free to park there then walk accross the street to the stadium.

Oh, and of course, I'll be at this year's KC game too :D

My wife and two grown sons are coming to town for the game from Palm Springs California, Any chance we can chip in the cost and attend a tailgate party with fellow Ravens Fans prior to the game, we did that last year in Seattle and had a blast!?

What sections are all the ravens Fans sitting in?

Thanks

I would try the Country Club Plaza area Saturday night. I believe the Sports bar 810Zone is no longer open, but there appear to be plenty of other bars in the area.

Also we would chip in for a tailgate party too, if someone would have us!

I'm coming down from Iowa too, sitting in section 135. Where are you guys coming from?

BTW Arrowhead really is a nice stadium, and now that I've been there I can say that it's quieter than M&T lol

My gf and I are driving down from omaha. Hopefully we can find a congregation of fellow Ravens fans in the parking lot to drink our beer with so as not to get awash in chiefs people. Is there any particular parking lot section people are going to or just wherever? I was at the Texans and Ravens playoff game in BAL and HOU had a pretty organized area it seemed (I was with friends who like the Texans so i actually met TJ Yate's parents lol). So i'll be on the look for for a ravens area! We are sitting in section 133 row 3 I believe.

We are just planning to park in general parking lot. Planning to arrive early. Anybody familiar with the lots there? I'm open to suggestions.

I’d suggest Cash Lot A. It’s the most convenient Cash Lot to the Visitor side of the field. I’m attaching a link for the parking around Arrowhead Stadium. It outlines all the reserved and cash lot parking. It also shows the highways around the stadium to help navigate in.
We’ve got our seats in Section 102, Row 4!! Can't wait!

Can't wait to see everyone! BTW... Lots of Baltimore fans are getting together at the 810 Zone in Leawood Saturday afternoon to watch the O's game. Not sure what everyone is doing tonight.

I hope all of you Ravens fans in KC have a wonderful time together and enjoy the Arrowhead experience. Of course a Ravens win will be part of enjoying your time in Arrowhead. It sounds like a great place to watch a game.
