I'll say Graham. We all remember how much ST aces like Gary Stills and (younger) BA helped the team, plus I think he may surprise people oni defense.

Agreed. He could be another Carr, except with more upside

Lol. Dowling and Minkster stole my idea!
Just playing, but I'm still really surprised that alot of people are saying Graham.

Why does Graham surprise you? You asked for most underrated, a lot of people recognize that ST is underrated aspect of football and that is where Graham excels. He also is a name that isnt talked about like Jacoby Jones. The other guy I would argue for is Ryan McBean because I think there is a good chance he really helps out interior pass-rush and not many people talk about him either.

If you asked who is the best offseason signing, you might have got a different answer.

We had the best KR/PR threat in the league for a few years, actually. Jermaine Lewis. That was a while back but still you can't say we NEVER had one

I don't think people have been talking about any of our free agent signings this offseason. Many seem to think we had a horrible offseason, and didn't sign any good players. I'm suprised about Graham because before we signed him I never even heard of him, and I didn't know how many people expect him to have a good year.

I'm not sure if he was one of the best back then. I know of his all time great KR in the superbowl, but I can't remember that far back due to may age haha.

I'd say Bobbie Williams

His familiarity with the AFC North Defenses are a valuable asset,
while his veteran presence can help bring out KO and Gradkowski.

My next choice would be McBean,

He can rush and do a okay job at the run support,
and he has that 6'5 frame to hover over throwing lanes.
The least he can do is play during the passing downs,
rotate out with McPhee.

People are raving how the Ravens had their worst offseason
But i feel optimistic about next year.

Suggs' injury will definitely hurt, but with the new acquisitions, the readiness of Ozzie Newsome, and the flexibility of the coaching squad,
I see Ravens even topping the AFC North again.

All joking aside, I'd have to go with Bobbie Williams. The game is won in the trenches, and if he can stay healthy, he could be a dominant guard for us. He may even turn out to be a better run blocker than Grubbs. At the very least, he would minimize the drop off in talent, and help to tutor the young guys.

My runner up goes to Jacoby Jones. He has the potential to take both our special teams and our offense to the next level. Whether his hands allow him to do so will be determined shortly.

I agree with your choice - Williams will probably be the only starter we signed from free agency... most I think he'll have the most impact. However... I think using the words "Bobbie Williams" and "dominant" in the same sentence... that ship has sailed.

If he's an adequate starter, we'll have done well. Everyone hoped K.O. would be ready to plug-and-play, but injuries and inexperience tied the FO's hands...

I dont think the FO was forced to sign Williams, but he was a good opportunity in case KO isnt ready to step in. If KO can stay healthy and have a strong TC, I think he may end up starting ahead of Williams. He could potentially be one of the more dominant guards in the NFL

I actually think picking up Williams was a good move - we couldn't be certain K.O. would be ready, and even if KO comes around, Williams will be a quality backup, like Gurode was last year. I was surprised we signed him for 2 years, though... maybe his agent insisted, and the FO gambled that he'd stay healthy. The Bengals' forum was bummed to see him leave, they said he was a high character guy, a locker room leader.

Like you said, though - I'm sure the FO hopes KO wins the job outright - 2nd round picks are counted on as starters, at some point. He's a brand-new rookie, though, so I'm betting on Williams starting week one.

I would prefer K.O. to start but Williams seems like he can be a solid contributor as well. I definitely like that we signed him, he adds depth if nothing else.
