with Matt Schaub and Thomas Jones coming off consecutive solid weeks, I'd like to shop em around. How does this trade sound to you

Matt Schaub
Thomas Jones
Santonio Holmes

for

Chad Pennington
Mewelde Moore
Larry Fitzgerald

At WR now, I've got
Santana Moss
Braylon Edwards
Santonio Homes
Donnie Avery
Antonio Bryant

and my RB's look like this
Clinton Portis
Joseph Addai
Dominic Rhodes
Thomas Jones

I would go for it, Fitzgerald is great and makes unbelievable catches. And Moore I believe will get better and become great and Pennington has a high completion percentage and throws for a nice amount of yards most of the games that he plays in. I would definitely go for the trade good luck.

Warner has been impressive as of late, he has been having great games and throwing for a lot of yards. I would start him I believe he will have a lot more great games. I really think your good with Fitzgerald he is amazing athletic, flexible, and tries hard. Think how much better the Ravens would be if we could get him.

that looks good to me, the only thing that would worry me is that if you trade away Jones you might be hurting at depth with RBs. When Parker comes back Moore's numbers will go down and you are only going to get yardage out of Rhodes as long as Addai is out and then he won't be as useful. So that would leave you with only two sure starters once Addai and Parker are healthy with two backup RBs; but if your WRs can carry you then I'd say go for it.

Matt Schaub in my mind is a keeper. He's only getting better. If you have a flex position. I would try to fit in Warner and Schaub.

You'd be giving away a starting running back, a up-an-coming fantasy QB, and a starting WR. for a QB on a run first team, a back-up running back who will lose their job to Parker. Only thing you would gain is larry fitzgerald.

Which would leave you with two guys on the same team. Warner and Fitzgerald. So your fantasy team would live and die by the Arizona Cardinals.

Personally I'd go for the first one, but that's just me because Fitsgerald has been a fantasy beast and Pennington is a solid back-up while Ryan doesn't have a team to compete against really good teams and Frank Gore will keep facing 8 man fronts until the 49ers QB situation is settled.

This is what you should do. Trade Kurt Warner and Addai+Rhodes for Matt Ryan and Frank Gore.

Here's Why:
Kurt Warners + Thomas Jones combined fantasy points are less than Matt Schaub + Frank Gores combined Fantasy points. Your Qb quality goes down but your RB quality goes way up. You both walk away from the Trade upgrading a core position on your rosters without losing too much. You both walk away gaining something of high value. I dont think Schaub for Ryan is to enticing or even worth it to the other guy.

Kurt Warner is ranked 4th in total fantasy points for a QB. Matt Ryan is ranked 17th. Frank Gore is ranked 3rd in total fantasy points for RB. Addai+Rhodes will compensate bcuz Addai should be returning next week + Rhodes is coming off a great game and his value will be at an all time high while he's still hot.

Here is why you can afford to dump Warner. Schaub is ranked 8th among fantasy qbs. His defense is horrible so that means they usually have to throw more to come from behind. Plus he has Andre Johnson and Daniel Owens to throw to. He wouldn't be that much of a downgrade in terms of who's gonna score you more points each week/ so it's worth it.

If the deal goes through you now have 2 top 3 rbs on your team and Jones is a top 20 back which means he is a low end 1st fantasy rb and HIGH end 2nd fantasy RB.

For WR trade

I'd package Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes for Fitzy. He's not gonna give up Fitzgerald for Schaub over Pennington. Give him 2 big name wrs even tho they haven't done squat. It's an enticing Trade bcuz of both of their values at the beginning of the year.

Explain your case in each trade and make sure you mention Rhodes hot streak and Derrek Anderson's hot streak. Look up the stats for Rhodes receiving yards. I think he has some value there as well. Also point out Matt Ryans weaknesses + Kurt Warners ranking and if he has a good record mention something about needing to upgrade your "team roster" b4 going into the playoffs. Tell him to look at the bigger picture.

Hope this helps.

(By the way I'm #1 in a 20 man league. I have the most total fantasy points scored so far in my league and my record is 7-1) ;)
