Offensive lineman Jah Reid was just carted off the field. His right leg was up on the cart. I didn't see how he sustained the injury.

Unfortunate. He wasn't expected to start, but we needed the depth.

Reid, Ellerbe, Jones, Doss, Pierce, Osemele, McPhee are all suffering from something. I know it's early but I think the injury bug has really hit us. No bueno.

No injury plaque pls..........

I think it's better to let out all of the possible injury before the July, so at least they all can heal for the preseason and season games.....

I know accidents happen, and "stuff" happens in camp like cramps and little boo-boos, but dang it! This is all without pads. The question I have is what have the strength and conditioning folks been doing all this time? I mean seriously??? :scared2:

Better get on it Cam and start drawing up some bootlegs for Flacco. Keep him on his feet.
Yeah, Cam using offensive adjustments. That'll be the day.

Thank God we're still in June. All these injuries are starting to concern me. I'm especially concerned about the injuries to Reid and Osemele. Well, let's go Gino and Boren!

Im especially concerned about McKinnie. This guy got a bonus based on his weight, he then participated in all OTAS, which was the second part of said bonus, and then shows up out of condition? I know a few months back i started a thread re his motivation being his debt due to a 3mil loan he took out for the lockout, at first i was only half heartedly behind that, but now seeing how he can do enough to get 1/2 mil bonus, then one month later be out of condition again its pretty clear, money is his sole motivator.

Question is, now hes made that bonus, and probably believes we need him enough to not cut him, will he just do "enough" to make this team to get his 2012 paycheck? If thats the case, would we be better off cutting our loses and running? Move Oher back, give Jah a chance, sign a vet on the market etc.

This like of commitment from him is beginning to piss me off

He showed up out of shape? Ugh. We need to find a left tackle. We need to find a Raven who can play left tackle. This really says a lot about his character, thats for sure. Unless he's hurt, which is a different story. But if he's just out of shape? I hate that. These guys are professional athletes. What kind of athlete is out of shape?
yea he wasnt even allowed to practice because of "conditioning issues"... harbaugh wouldnt comment on what he had to do to get back into shape and practice again. My patience is wearing thin

This is exactly why I wanted a true LT in the draft. We have no true left tackles other than McKinnie.
It has to be our no.1 need going into the next offseason, with WR, ILB, and Safety a close 2,2a,2b

No doubt. Ozzie must have some kind of plan on solving that problem. He has to! He always has a plan!

Ravens guard Jah Reid strained his right calf, according to a league source. So, nothing that serious.

if some of the juniors come out this year, the 2013 draft class is full of good tackle prospects.

Sorry, I just don't like the offensive tackles in next year's class and since some of them are juniors, make it 2014 class if some stay back. I don't see a OT who is a sure guarantee like Joe Thomas, Jake Long or Matt Kalil, so no thank you.

we'd need to do something crazy....he may be the #1 pick, depending on the major need of team 32.

We're never going to get someone of that caliber. Those guys are top 5 picks, where we'll be picking at the end of the round. You can't expect someone that good where we'll be picking.
exactly... If your using that method we'd just forfeit our picks every year. He's not as good as ray, he's not like ed, so on and so forth

I would pull an Atlanta it if it meant securing our LT spot for the 10-15 years.

As crazy and dangerous as it is, I would consider it as an option. However, our front office does not usually operate that way.

As stated above, it sounds crazy, but I would actually consider making the move. The Ravens FO won't though.

Either way though, I feel like LT is so deep next year that we can actually get a cornerstone in the late first. It's unlikely they'll be Long, Thomas, etc. caliber, but there's definitely superstar potential there.
