Hopefully McAdoo clears and lands on the IR. Anyone have anything on Wragge? Seems to continue getting a shot at the NFL.

Only has 23 starts, it sounds like he's just depth or a camp guy. Maybe insurance if Birk and Gino can't get it done.

He's just had an interesting career. Battling for a roster spot and ends up starting. Granted, the Rams line has been depleted the last few years. Not sure if he's actually good enough to warrant his playing time or whether it has happened by chance. I'm going to go with the latter.

I was gonna say....Harbs just said they weren't giving up on McAdoo and then turn around and release him? If it was a numbers thing putting him on IR wouldn't have counted against us so I don't get what the logic is for this move on his behalf.

A player has to clear waivers to be placed on the IR.

McAdoo will clear waivers. Nobody will pick him up with a torn Achilles. He'll go on IR almost definitely.

As for Wragge, he's just a camp body. I would be shocked, absolutely shocked, if he made the roster.

What he said. I believe it's if a player has less than 4 years of experience and the team wants to put them on IR before the rosters get cut from 90 to 78, or whatever the number is. Jake Ballard, for the Giants, went through the same thing a couple of days ago.

Agreed. Look at what ProFootballTalk said about Wragge:

"Wragge started eight games at center for the Rams last season and [b][size=5]didn’t play particularly well[/size][/b]. That should make him an underdog in any scrap for the starting guard spot."

i have a question: do you guys see any position with a need for camp bodies on our team? i think that we are pretty deep at most positions.

for me clearly positions without need of more competition: WR, DB, OL, LB, TE, QB, RB

maybe we could need some bodies at the DL.

what do you guys think?
