It makes it tough to define a roster now because free agency supersedes OTAs instead of just regular sedeing it like last year. Last year that's where the mysteries unfurled. Then they kind of furled back up. I know it sounds deranged but it's actually pretty ranged.

Ummm, honestly he just meant that there are a lot of good players and you cant keep them all..he's not necessarily referring to any 6 players....so there is no list

That doesn't make sense, though. If it was just that he was afraid a couple talented guys wouldn't make it, why specify "six"? Why six, when thirty-odd guys aren't going to be on the final roster? Why not just say "A lot of guys we cut are gonna end playing this year, that's the sort of talent we have" like they always do?

If Gorrer is healthy and isn't on the 53-man(or whatever it ends up being this year) roster going into Week 1.... Harbaugh should be fired.

Whole heartedly agree. Gorrer showed his immense worth and ability in beyond a tight situation for us last year. If i he isn't the leading candidate for the dime corner slot something is wrong.

The lowest form? It's funny you say that, because literary greats like Shakespeare, Twain, and Dickens were fluent in sarcasm, and are very well known for it. But to each his own.

As for the actual topic at hand, I'd think that the six players in question are: Bryan Hall, Justin Boren, Ishmaa'ily Kitchen, David Reed, Danny Gorrer, and Damien Berry.

It may be the lowest form of wit, but it still is wit. Which is far better than a complete lack of wit.

I'm pretty sure that you and Kevin Federline are the only two individuals on Earth who share this opinion

ha, my best guess of players would be:

I would say our depth at WR would probably make good options as Tommy Streeter, David Reed, Deonte Thompson
On the OL with Bobbie Williams signing Justin Boren, Ramon Harewood may be possibilities (hopefully not Boren)
We always have too many good LBs so Albert McClellan, Josh Bynes, Michael McAdoo
Lastly we seem to have a ton of good CBs on the roster which may make it difficult for Corey Graham, Danny Gorrer and Chykie Brown to all make the roster

I may be leaving off a bunch of others and most of these guys should make the team
[/quote]
And teams like the Washington Redskins, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs (possibly some others joining the mix) will be scrambling for our cast aways, like they have in previous years. It is actually both annoying and flattering that they scoop up our "garbage". lol

Dannell Ellerbe will also possibly fall into that LB category.
