Player Ratings?

14 posts in this topic

Lol i know this is a novice question, but...
do they change player ratings when updating the roster? Like for example if flacco were to be successful by the end of the season, would his overall still be 79 in online play? thnx. :)

I'm not sure, I know that they update traded players ex:Roy Williams to the 'Boys... and injured players (although you can put them back in during a game thru the depth chart ;) )

Hopefully they do, because if he continues to stop his INT's and runs well, his speed and accuracy should definitely go up, along with awareness.

They should come out with it, b/c their ratings were WHACK for some players, and if they make the pro bowl or whatever, then i think they'll boost some attributes.

They do change them alot, they made Flacco alot worse and now made him slightly better, I hope that he EA fans will not listen to the so called "experts" at ESPN or we will never see a high rated Flacco. <_<

I am begging EA to please boost him up, it will not b a mistake and I really want to kill my friends with him. INCREASE HIS ACCURACY HE IS COMPLETING AROUND >60% OF HIS PASSES!

WACKO FOR FLACCO!

when they update the roster, they sign players, release players, change their ratings up and change the ratings down. it just depends on how great or poorly a player is doing. they usually dont change players attributes alot unless they are like a rookie rated low and is leading the league in a specific category. kinda like how a. peterson was rated low, but ended up blowing up his rookie year and doing extremely well. so he had a huge increase in his rating by the end of the year.

Same, but I'm too much of a homer and I end up being unable to sign half the team after a season of Franchise mode. But hey, that one season was well worth it!

My main gripe with Madden 09 ratings is Ray Rice's speed. On the PS3 version, they have his speed at 91. He's at least a 94. They also make Derrick Mason slow as hell at a 89, I'd put him at a 90-91.

91's quick for an RB. Rice isn't even that fast, he just has great acceleration.
