Five year deal?
:-p

Retire a Raven.

Its cool Mase and Stover played their last game in another uniform, both choose to retire as a Raven.

I'd be thrilled to have Mason retire as a Raven and I'd be more thrilled to have his name listed among those in the Ring of Honor.

He'll definitely be in the Ring of Honor. He was a true warrior, and a lot of this team's success would be nonexistent without him on the field. Great guy, regardless of how vocal he was in his last year here.

Got to be retire as a Raven. Glad to see it. Didn't he play longer for the Titans? If so, I think that says a lot for the Ravens organization.

We already know he wants to retire a Raven. I don't think that's what the whole press conference is about. He's probably just making a guest appearance.

I will hold out hope he is signing on as our WR coach, though I suspect he will officially retire a Raven tomorrow.

Mason as our WR Coach, that would be awesome! Now if only we can get Stover as our ST Coach, and JO as our OL Coach, that would make it even more awesome!

I guess I could post it here as well, sure the Mods won't appreciate it. Just seems there are two threads for every topic during the offseason. Anywho, one of my best memories of Mason playing with a dislocated shoulder against the Cowboys. He showed true grit that evening. Just watching him blow-up Jerome Carter at the end, purely amazing.

Aaron Wilson confirmed on his Twitter that it's a retirement conference, like we all thought. I'd link it but I'm on my phone.

Bittersweet.

Heart wrenching to know that we'll never see him play again, but he gave us some great memories.

Next stop: Ring Of Honor

Looking forward to it! I'm happy that he wanted to retire a Raven, and I'm glad that we accommodated those wishes.

Edit - Mason just updated his Facebook...
So I see the cat is out of the bag already about the 3pm press conference! Yes, it's true....I am boarding a plane now to fly home and retire a RAVEN! Baltimore has blessed me more than anyone will ever know. Happy to be home and happy to be a Raven FOREVER.
Sad to let him go like that last year like that.

He played his heart out in every game he played for us. Best wishes to Mason!

I got negged for wanting to bring Mason back late last year and last month for saying I didn't want him to retire because I miss watching him play. Now I'm getting negged because I don't think the entire press conference is about him retiring a Raven. I've always been a fan of him but apparently that's not welcome around here.

Haha I negged you, but it was by accident! Meant to hit the plus since the sarcasm was so apparent :)
