Halloween!

25 posts in this topic

Since I'll be on a plane to Baltimore this Friday, I was wondering what other people were doing for Halloween. I did get a chance last week to go to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. I went on a slow night and had bought an Express Pass so I was able to go through all eight of their houses. Four were good, two were just ok, and two kinda blew. I always love going to haunted attractions and have been generally impressed with Universal's houses as compared to others in the area. I used to go to the Haunted Mill in southern PA every year, which seemed cool at the time, but in later years went downhill. Is there any cool places you guys remember going to for a good scare?

I'm going to dress up like JonM229 for Halloween and scare the crap outta people.

I live closer to D.C. There is Markoff's Haunted Forest in Poolesville which is awesome and always draws great crowds. But I love Goatman Hallow in Riverdale, MD. Not so much scary but just a cool atmosphere and time. It takes about 45 minutes to go through and you're part of the show.

I'll be at Max's in Fell's Point. This year, I will be Faith era George Michael. All I need is the leather jacket, shirt, steel-capped boots, aviator shades, black glove, earring and bad haircut. I'm working on the stubble as we speak.

You don't have the bad haircut, but that would be a good get-up for you.

Bedlam in the 'Boro, its a haunted hayride in Lineboro that rocks.
We mega decorate our house and some tail gate buddies come over for fun and take the kids Trick or Treating. The year we played the Steelers on MNF we all went as drunken Ravens fans, as did about half my neighborhood.

I'm just taking my nephew & niece out this year, as I did last year.

But as for MY possible costume? Two words:

*whisper* I'm Batman.

I plan on mugging the kids who come to my door for their chocolate. And, if there's time eating it infront of them. Just to make sure they don't come back next year.

same here, it'll be a rather quiet one for me, noone really comes to our house anyway, besides family (no Not Mike Rowe he's out doing more dirty jobs i think, thats what i was told from his parents) but yea we'll just do a little handing out of candy here and there with my niece and nephew and little cousins. and just watch Halloween movies (the nice versions, my mom doesnt like the Scary stuff, she likes the disney more subtle one's.... like Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town, you know...those types.

You look kinda like Elijah Woods in that photo. I was going to comment on it in facebook, but I decided it wasn't my place.
