If you watch Flaccos first game to now, he has grown leaps and bounds.

I was one of those people who were scratching my head when we took Flacco so early, I thought we could have grabbed him in the second. Never the less, Ozzie is a guru, and he made the right choice.
Just like the Ray Rice decision and acquiring Lorenzo Neal...Genious-ness! :D
Jacksonville's offensive line is ailing and has been all season. So, I really wouldnt put to much stock into that. All things considered, I dont think this game is going to be as easy a win as some fans from both sides seem to think it will be. I read on one of the Browns message boards that this game, their next Bengals game, and the game against the Texans are all games that the Browns will win. Thats pretty laughable.
That is kinda amusing. But as with all NFL teams fans once you win a game or 2 out of 3 then all of a sudden you're the best thing since sliced bread. One loss and back to the ground you go LOL.

this really comes down to which offense shows up and if both show up it could be a shoot out in cleveland however i dont see the score being anything over 28 points

Playing Cleveland (in Cleveland) is going to be "no easy task" whatsoever!

We have no idea what Cleveland team is going to show up. We have been giving up a lot of passing yards per game and we are playing a team that has very capable receivers when they feel like performing at an NFL level. Not to mention a QB that can be John Elway one day and Kyle Boller the next.

Lets hope we get Kyle! Because we already know that the running game won't be a problem.

I'd given up on a Ravens score over 21 points until 2 week ago. I think we are finally getting a little hot sauce on 'O'.

It'll be close at halftime, but just like last game, we'll start pulling away in the third quarter and finish them off in the Fourth!

Not sure about finishing off lol...that's something where we rlly need to improve on, & i think Harbs will account for that.

As a BROWNS fan,let me just say: You RAVENS have an awesome defense, best in the NFL& you guys are always a challenge. Hopefully we can take advantage of playing @ home ,getting the crowd involved..This is a very big divisional game for us & hopefully our offense can keep your defense off balance..I saw the wrinkles your offense put in w/ TROY ....NICE!..But we have a few of our own & maybe that'll be the difference...It 'll be a good ,close game & hopefully JAMAL will get it goin"...He's the HEART OF OUR TEAM & A TRUE LEADER

Jamal Lewis is great, no doubt about that. Ravens D is performing at a high level this year, especially against the run. Don;t expect too much production from Jamal next game. Sorry

im with you on that mr but unfortunetly.... our defense is a bit smarter then the average joe... we dont fall for the trick stuff.... only reason why alot of our DB get burnt is because they bite to hard on the play trying to stuff the run or go for the pick.... another problem we have is tackling.... Our secondary likes big hits which equals miss tackles... If anything jamal lewis will break a few tackles but dont expect him to run over us cause i dont see it happening... You can give jamal the ball all game long to try to wear out our 1string D but our backups are extreamly well to the point were their 1st strings in other defenses... I honestly think the game just relies on your defense and our offense

lol true that on secondary...right now w/o landry, Reed and Leonard are the most reliable tacklers as our last line of defense...god when landry comes back, situation will be a whole lot better.

considering Jamal was on the Ravens at one point i think our D knows how to handle him oh and not to mention the fact we havent allowed a 100 yard rusher in 25 or 26 games now
stop Jamal/ get in andersons face = a Win

even if both offenses show up and play GREAT football our Defense is what will Win this game

Jamal is just the pounder...i don't expect for him to get 100 yards rushing, especially against us. He just wants to get us tired with his bruising style. Our brick wall of defenders make it pretty hard to penetrate through the line of scrimmage, for any runningback. :P

true i wouldnt expect him to break runs on us but our defense doesnt really get worn down by running backs considering most teams cant get enough of a running game going early on so they just give up on it

Game Preview
-----------------

Last meeting
In Week 3 of this season, the Ravens forced three turnovers and allowed the Browns only 169 total yards in a dominant 28-10 victory.

Streaks
The Browns have beaten the Ravens in two of the last three matchups, to lower the Ravens' overall series lead to 12-7. Check out the historical matchup of the last five games.

Last week
Cleveland kept Jacksonville out of the end zone in the closing seconds, preserving a 23-17 road victory at Jacksonville. ... Baltimore routed the visiting Raiders, 29-10, behind Joe Flacco, who had 140 yards passing, 23 yards rushing and 43 yards receiving.

Keep your eye on ...
K-2 coming back: Kellen Winslow returns following a one-game absence -- the result of his criticizing the team over a staph infection. After becoming a Pro Bowl player for the first time last year, Winslow has not had the kind of encore season he would have hoped for. He has only one touchdown in five games this year and is averaging fewer than 9 yards per catch.

Which QB makes fewer mistakes: Flacco had a turnover in four of his first five games but has none in his past two outings. Cleveland's Derek Anderson, meanwhile, had a turnover in three of his first four contests but has not had one in the last three weeks.

Homesick Ravens: In the past two seasons, Baltimore has been one of the league's worst road teams. It has won only two of 11 road games since 2007 and dropped a 27-13 decision in its trip to Cleveland last year.

Did you know?
Ravens LB Terrell Suggs has 11 sacks against the Browns, his highest total against any team in the NFL. Ed Reed has seven interceptions vs. Cleveland, also his highest number against any opponent. ... When the Browns score at least 30 points, they are 6-0 under coach Romeo Crennel. ... Browns rookie Alex Hall leads all AFC rookies with three sacks. The first three games - all losses - Lewis averaged 14.7 carries. The Browns are 3-0 this year when Lewis runs the ball at least 20 times, and are 11-1 over two years.

If you're a gambling man (or woman).. The 1-point favored Browns are 3-1 in their last four games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against Baltimore. The Ravens are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 road games.

I think this game will be a lot closer then what other people are predicting

Im gonna give a score but Im not gonna name the victor

23-20

Thats what I think the scores gonna be at.

Itll all come down to who probably has the last chance at a field goal.

i agree, the browns are by NO means a bad team.. i think their problem is coaching.. romeo has NO idea how to run a clock.. i forget what game it was but they were down like 10+ points or so.. 2 min. left in the game and he decides to kick for a pointless feild goal besides going for it?..

Im looking for the browns to play their little hearts out.. 2 get past that .500 mark.. this is a BIG game for them.. & the fact that its a big game for them makes it a big game for us.

well if your down 10 with 2 min to go with not enough timeouts, its a two possession game either way, it's whatever comes first, the FG or the TD. either way your going to kick an onside kick. not sure if that applies to what your talking about though.

There are two possible scenarios you may be talking about which both in my opinion were blockhead moves:

1.) Opening game against Dallas we were losing 28-7 with 11 minutes left in the game and Romeo elects to kick a FG to make it 28-10 which is the final score.

2.) Week 2 against Pittsburgh we're down 10-3 and could not drive all night. We finally get down to about the 15 yard line and Romeo elects to kick a FG making it 10-6 with about 3 minutes left in the game. To me this is absolutely ridiculous because you STILL need a TD to now win the game and it is a 4th and 2 play and you haven't been able to do jack offensively all night.. so why not go for it?

It was against PITT!!! I remember I was watching the game and I was really pissed because I actually bet money that the browns would win... I just remember not being able to make ANY sense of why you guys tried for a FG. But right there shows you 2 instances of what im trying to get out here... The browns have ALOT of talent.. and I honeslty think D.anderson is the guy.. you dont want to put brady in and throw him to the wolves like billick did with boller.. this is what took his confidence away.. its almost the SAME situation we were in last year.. we HAD a qb.. but he was scared of taking sacks so therefore he didnt complete passes and threw ridiculous amounts of int's..Bad coaching.. & Bad time management = LOST football games.
