Good point. That's the name of the game, keeping the D on their toes, even if it means reverting to 'normal' plays.
lol! they'll have to waste a couple of men with QB spy's and use DE contain's, while we pound the ball! Brilliant! :D
lol dont wanna get too carried away, but still...that would definitely find some success against the browns lousy defense.

All I know is Ray Rice should see more playing time. I thin McGahee and Rice is a better version of Taylor and MJD. He is deadly on check downs and screen passes. Just run a 2 RB set with McGahee and Rice and fake hand off to McGahee and check down to Rice. 9 out of 10 times that would give you a first down.

Let's not forget McClain to pound the ball in certain occasions...the three-headed monster is still alive :D
So lets review: Ravens are ranked 5th in rushing offense. Browns are ranked 24th in rushing defense.....The Ravens defense is ranked 2nd in total yards allowed. The Browns offense is ranked 30th in total yards per game......Last time the Browns played the Ravens they had 3 turnovers, only 69 rushing yards, a total of 169 yards of net offense, and only had possession of the ball for 22 of the 60 minutes that game. hmmm...I'm starting to understand why you think the Browns have a chance....
Numbers don't lie and more than likely you'll be the favorites to win the game; I don't deny that. Numbers also get skewed and the defensive play in the last 4 weeks compared to the first 3 *is* dramatically improved; numbers don't necessarily show that.

As far as having a chance absolutely, I always believe we have a chance no matter who we play when we play or where we play. If Cleveland loses so be it; I'll be here to accept my crow on a plate. We're playing better than we did in week 3 and IMO it all boils down to which Derek Anderson shows up. With all of that being said and it being a divisional game I most definitely believe we have a shot.

The Browns confidence is at an all time high. It'll be a tough game. If we can rattle Anderson early its game over. If we let him get his confidence going, let Winslow and Edwards get into a groove we maybe in trouble. The key on offensive is block Shaun Rogers. It's that simple.

They are alot better than they were early in the year. If we play solid Defense and don't turn over the football we will win regardless.

Hopefully the Derrek Anderson that the Ravens released and not the good? Derrek Anderson from last year. It still blows my mind as to why the Browns haven't played Quinn yet. I've even heard a rumor of them trading him...I guess they like wasting 1st rd picks?

1. I hope the scared-eyes-where-am-I Derrek Anderson comes to play

and

2. I hope Kellen Winslow is still having issues with his swollen balls aka "staph infection" (no pun intended), and can't play this week.

When Kellen Winslow is in the zone he's the only one on the Browns I get worried about. Other than that I think it will be a classic smash mouth Ravens-Browns game as usual.

Oh yeah,

3. I hope the refs don't try to screw us on any of our field goals <_<...........again.

This time around we'll just screw you out of touchdowns and if you don't like it we'll resort to other methods to obtain victory.

Hopefully we hit em in the mouth early, and the DA of the 2nd half in the first game comes back. That was fun to watch  He must have felt like he was back on the practice squad that game.

But seriously, if we play like we have the past 2 weeks, or really any week besides the colts loss, we should win this game imo. The browns are improved, but so are we, our offense is playing wel, and our D is still playing dominant.

Hmm prediction would have to be 21-14 or 24-14 ravens

I was making a joke in reply to RavensIQ. He mentioned this time around he hoped the Refs didn't screw them out of FGs so I was joking this time around we'll screw you all out of touchdowns.
I think the main thing during this game is our defense.
If they stop Anderson early then the game is ours.
As well as our offense scoring early.
i'm more worried about stoping Anderson in the 4th quarter

I wouldn't worry about that, by then we should be up by like 3 scores or so!

putting up points will be the most important thing for us. our defense can handle their offense so we just have to see if our offense can handle their defense

I can actually see this being a blow out for us. Clevelands defense is pretty bad. Flacco is the key, he can expose them through the air.

i really hope we do well. i think we are overrating ourselves right now. we need to go into the game with the same mind set as the raiders 1 game at a time. the browns may not be the best team in the nfl but were also not the best. if you have not been watching all year anything can and will happen in the nfl. im really hoping that if we lose some of yalls egos deflat some LoL and by no means do i want to lose i just remeber getting all excited and then being let down. and remeber flacco is still a rookie and he still has plenty of growing still to do.

I am hearing all this talk about Cleveland's defense being so bad? Didn't Cleveland beat BOTH the NY Giants AND Jacksonville!!??

Jacksonville has a injured offensive line so dont take to much pride on that... and NY giants, you guys flat out beat them...

This is really going to depend of who protects the ball better, Derick Anderson or Joe Flacco. Which at least for Flacco means whether the OL keeps him sitting pretty.
I think the key to victory this week will be the same for last week against the Raiders:

1) Protect the football
2) Establish the tempo early
3) Get Flacco comfortable early
4) Defense needs to play solid and STOP GIVING UP BIG PLAYS
-There were a couple of long passes Russell was able to execute, we need to stop giving up those kind of plays
5) Keep the Brown's Offense off the field and keep their D confused
-i.e. Wildbird

But remember, it is a Brown's defense, they're not the best in the league, but I'm not taking anything for granted
You shouldnt. They shut down the Jags and Giants.
Which is true I'll give you that. I was highly impressed that Jones-Drew and Taylor didn't run all over us like we were high schoolers yesterday. Garrard may have been their leading rusher with how many times he burned us.
Jacksonville's offensive line is ailing and has been all season. So, I really wouldnt put to much stock into that. All things considered, I dont think this game is going to be as easy a win as some fans from both sides seem to think it will be. I read on one of the Browns message boards that this game, their next Bengals game, and the game against the Texans are all games that the Browns will win. Thats pretty laughable.

i think it will be tough to blow them out, every game in the NFL is tough, but this is a divisional road game. extremely tough, i think we will pull through with a victory though but i do not think it will be a blowout. Hopefully the squealers lose so we will be tied for first place

I personally think that Joe Flacco is at a better situation in this game, his 9th game, than his 2nd career game. Even though it's an away game, he proved he can play away, playing at Miami. True, the Browns this week are stronger than the Browns from week 2, but so is our offense.

If you watch Flaccos first game to now, he has grown leaps and bounds.

I was one of those people who were scratching my head when we took Flacco so early, I thought we could have grabbed him in the second. Never the less, Ozzie is a guru, and he made the right choice.
