Man, I drafted a monster team in my ten 10 keeper league. I came into the league keeping Foster and McCoy so I already had a leg up. QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, Flex, Def, K.

Some wierd scoring: .5 PPR, .2 Per Completion, 6pts for QB TDs, 30 passing yds per point, Ints -2, sacks -1, 1 point for 25 return yards, Bonuses for huge games (200/300 yds rushing/receiving, 350/450 yds passing). Defenses get basically 2x default scoring and are penalized hard for bad games. Kickers get more points for long kicks, penalized more for missing gimmies.

Tom Brady
Arian Foster
LeSean McCoy
Julio Jones
Percy Harvin
Brandon Lloyd
Jimmy Graham
Doug Martin
Eagles Def
Garrett Hartley

Peyton Hillis
Denarius Moore
Nate Washington
C.J. Spiller
Ben Tate
Jared Cook
Thats a good team.

and this is why i hate keeper leagues as opposed to dynasty leagues. Also why i hate snake draft instead of auction. Kinda wish we had an auction dynasty league on here.

I like keeper leagues because it adds another wrinkle. My team sucked last year because my WRs were terrible so I get the #1 pick and still get to hold onto my stud RBs. It's also a 10 team leauge which makes most teams look good on paper. I prefer 12-14 teams.

7 team QB keeper league. My keepers coming into draft were Rodgers,Gronk,Jennings,Turner

Now my roster looks like this...
Rodgers
Roethlisburger
Turner
Martin
Nicks
Jennings
Gronkowski
Prater
Bears

RG3
D. Brown
Ingram
Wallace
A. Brown
Maclin
Quick

My RBs are my weakness link, but I really believe in Doug Martin this year. I also think Turner has another solid year with 10+ TDs.

Decent team, although from the roster i would never have thought it was a keeper league.

7 teams?Why...
I've never heard of that.. Does one team have a bye every week?

Yeah every player in the league has 2 bye weeks every year. And it's it's a money league with my friends, it's really fun this way. It will always be my favorite way to play fantasy football. I don't mind the bye weeks because it gives you an extra week to prepare for the next guy you face. Plus on bye weeks I can focus a lot more on the Ravens better lol.

We were going to do 8 teams again, but not everyone wanted to redraft fresh and change up all their keepers. This is the primary way I play FF, and it's by far the funnest IMO.

Doug Martin is quickly becoming one of my favorite players already. I have such a great feeling about him. He really reminds me of Ray Rice with Sproles speed. If you search his videos on youtube (Not just highlights) you can really see it. He gets plenty of yac and always fights for extra yards...

Heres some tape on him. I'm really excited about him, I think he'll have a better year then Richardson...

so i just did my first for real live draft.

10 team league.. settings are weird

players get a point for every 20 return yards and QB points are beefed up. 1 pt for every 20 (instead of 25) yards and 6 (instead of 4) points for every TD

this is what i ended up with pick number 6

1.) Tom Brady
2.) Matt Forte
3.) Michael Turner
4.) Julio Jones
5.) Reggie Bush
6.) Marques Colston
7.) Torrey Smith
8.) Desean Jackson
9.) Chicago D
10.) Seabastian J,
11.) CJ Spiller
12.) Jacob Tamme
13.) LeGarrette Blount
14.) Santana Moss
15.) Dustin Keller
16.) Laurent Robinson

lineup goes as this

Qb Brady

Rb Turner
Rb Forter

Wr Julio
Wr Colston

TE Tamme

Wr/Te Torrey
Wr/Rb Reggie

K SJ

D Chicago

Jennings is a talented rusher and the Jags do well with run-blocking. He's played great in the two prior PS games as well. He'll be a great value if MJD doesn't show up before week 10. But I am doubtful that happens.

Laurent on the Jags is a bum for fantasy purposes. But I must say Blackmon has impressed in limited time so far.

Not too flashy of a team but solid at the hinges. Don't like the RB position as Turner will lose on passing downs and possibly carries given his age and the direction ATL's offense is heading.
Also, i'm kind of upset that da Bears OC Mike Tice wants two (2) TWO 1,000 rushers...WTH!? There goes Forte's value..

I'm not worried about forte. If he is healthy, he will get his. He's too good

Turner I am worried about. But the way the QB points are set up I should be golden with Brady

I didn't mean anything negative about your RB's lol.
I have Forte in 2 of my leagues and im confused about what the Bears want to do with their RB's.
And i was never big on Turner but he definitely will reap the TD's.

I'd be more concerned about Jay Cutler than Matt Forte. A lot of people have him as a sleeper QB, but I think they will be a run first offense. He's probably gonna have Joe Flacco (from the past couple years) numbers, solid but not a good fantasy starter.

Watching Peyton Manning in this 49ers game, I performed highway robbery on all of you getting him in the 6th Round.

And if you make it to the playoffs? Week 15 @ Baltimore.

Two things suck for you here:

You'll have a conflict of interest

Manning in Baltimore in December - It won't be an August PS game nor a dome game.
Manning = Ravens Killer. Deny it all you want but Peyton still has 'it' and is still the same Peyton Manning we all know.

I'll wait to see "it" until regular season when teams can gameplan and use press coverage and make him throw deep

Words on the street is Denver tipped off SF to take it easy on Manning. You know so he makes it to the regular season lol.

Not too concerned about Jay because Marshall is back in CHI and they have more chemistry than the periodic table.

Cutler had Marshall in Denver as well, and he wasnt a good fantasy QB then either. Other than Marshall that receiving corps is very mediocre.

I can't start players vs the Ravens. In 3 years of playing fantasy I never had and never will, Just can't do it.

For 1, I'm not rooting for players to do good vs us, and for 2 it's not that smart to start anyone vs our defense.

Never even a kicker.

Nobody's added Tucker yet.
That's because ESPN doesn't pay attention to kickers.

He still isn't even listed on ESPN despite being the only kicker on a good offense.

2008, Jay Cutler's last year with Denver and with Marshall he had his best season of his career

4,500+ Throwing Yards, 25 TD's, 200 Rushing Yards with 2 TD's and an 86.0 QB rating
That's a long shot saying he "wasn't a good fantasy QB then".

That's borderline top 10 numbers...and he has only approached that kind of production once. Chicago is a run first offense with a limited number of offensive playmakers. He was also in Mike Shanahan's system then, not Mike Tice. Who on Chicago's roster is going to catch 90 passes like Eddie Royal did that year?
