the risk is actually much lower than you expect. I did backup Vick with a good qb who should have a bounce back year considering he he has one of the top 3 easiest schedules in the league. As for Run DMC I backed him up with goodson, but in addition to that Hillis is there

There isnt one player one your team that is safe. They are all unproven or injury risks.

Sorry i wasn't at the draft. Went to work and i left my computer at home because i wasn't sure if anyone would be ok with me in.
Had to step by step walk my wife through each draft pick over the phone, with the occasional "wheres that button" "that player isn't even available!" When he actually was. All in all she did fine beside the whole kicker part.

Future 2012 Baltimore Board Members Champion Team is...

QB:Jay Cutler
RB1:Ray Rice
RB2:Jahvid Best?
WR1:Vic Cruz
WR2:Brandon Marshall
WR3:Marques Colston
TE:Jared Cook
W/R/T: Vincent Jackson
K: David Akers
D/ST: 49ers

Bench:
Carson Palmer
Kendall Wright
Nate Burlson
Jonathan Dwyer
Eddie Royal
Lamichael James
Jets/D

MIGHT be willing to trade a WR for a RB-or-TE.

So Sizzle, why the change of heart on McFadden?
Which is why I question his (McFadden) top 2 rounds pick status. 4 years straight now he has screwed ppl over and yet its not changing.
I was debating McFadden or MJD at 9th. I had 8 guys that I would feel good about picking in the first round. All 8 of those guys were gone with the first 8 picks.

As much as I personally want to see Jahvid Best return and be successful, I kinda think he should retire from Football.

Says the guy who drafted Kevin Smith & Mikel LeShoure back-to-back.

a 14 team league is different than a 12 team league. After watching the nfl.com draft and mocking extensively, I felt that I could acquire an extreme amount of quality depth at rb which I was able to. Most ppl take two rb (1 good like mcfadden and then two avg like green ellis, I managed to get 3 that may end up being top 10 or higher and peyton hillis who could finish as a top 15 back based on workload. I also offset his risk by cuffing him with goodson. So even tho he is a risk, I managed to offset it dramatically.

The one thing I hate about snake drafts is that those of us picking late have less margin for error. At that position I also considered going Larry Fitz and the Julio Jones, but I wasnt prepared to possibly be weak at rb and considering the stats on wide receivers scoring per week, I wasnt willing to advance down that road. This is one of the few reasons auction is a better draft style

You did will with insurance with Goodson and also snagging Hillis. I am fairly high on Hillis compared to his ADP and was hoping to get him last night. You can never go wrong with loading up with RBs.

Auction drafts are better, I agree. I think they will become more prevalent as the years pass. Snake drafts are much more Newbie friendly.

I love my team, Rivers to Gates combo, Megatron and Peterson. Ingram should improve this year, Boldin is a solid #2 in my eyes when sitting next to Calvin. Rice could do well if Flynn turns out to be good. I got Ravens and Bears defenses who I'll switch in and out the whole year, Toon I think will be this years Randell Cobb, and then some. Gresham should do solid as a backup or flex option. And T. Jones could have alot of value as DMCs backup, dude is nice.

I'm feeling real good about my team, great 1st draft for me who has never played in a league with this many people.

I actually came away rather happy with my draft

Cam Newton
Chris Johnson
Ahmad Bradshaw
Steve Smith (Carolina)
Antonio Brown
Michael Crabtree
Tony Gonzalez
Shonn Greene
Seahawks DST
Alex Henery

Toby Gerhart
Kendall Hunter
Dion Lewis
Gregg Little
Alshon Jeffery
Ed Dickson
Matt Flynn

I like my depth at RB which I find is key, I have a some good handcuff players who could turn into something and three full workload backs. Albeit I hate Greene he presents really good fantasy value for a flex (especially once Tebow gets the job). I think I got a good combo with Cam and Steve Smith. Antonio Brown I thought was a steal, Crabtree I am very iffy on and my third WR spot looks like a real weak spot as I may have to play matchups with mediocre players like Crab, Little and occasionally Jeffery (which I will always screw up). Tony G is always solid but he may loose targets this year in Atlanta.

Looking for possible upgrades to WR or TE depth. Most guys are tradable though if and am always willing to look at blockbusters.

Hawaii I love your team especially at WR, you could have some huge weeks and really blow people away. My team is much less explosive other then Cam and CJ who can have big days. And who is Old Bay Crabs? Whoever it is I love your team and would give it early bets to win, the only early hole I would say is your love for Dallas at DST and K, but they could both do rather well.

I like Best myself. He is a mini Lesean McCoy when healthy (if he's ever healthy).
Also sorry Crushmore, i would never give up Ray Rice. Hence the name "Rice Monsters" (like cookie monster, even though i don't know how that makes sense). My trade proposal was actually referring to trade one of my WR's for another team's RB. If anyone is interested please dont hesitate.

Also I looked at everyone's team and it looks like we are going to have a fun season upon us! :18_1_301:

Looking forward to playing you week 1. But you shouldn't have to worry. I have to wait on Mathews and MJD to get going (if they ever do)

It does look like a pretty good league overall. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses. Not bad for a 14 team league.

Thanks. You have a very good team yourself, But like you said, maybe a possible upgrade at WR. Im willing to part with one (or more) for a good RB. So let me know if you are willing to trade.
Also I don't know who old bay crabs is but he also has a very solid team in our other league..

Oh come on Giants, now you take Hakeem Nicks off the PUP list. I wanted to draft him last night but didn't since he was on the PUP list.
