Joe Flacco Interview On Sportscenter Special Tonight At 7Pm (Et)

26 posts in this topic

Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested and didn't already know. ESPN is doing a series of division previews, and they're starting off with the AFC North at 7pm. According to Jamison Hensley from the AFCN Blog, the special will feature an interview with Joe Flacco.

Most of us can't stand ESPN but I'm sure some people here will be interested.

Bad choice by Joe to agree to an interview with ESPN. I can imagine the setup questions they have in store for him..
Well atleast it isn't Jamie Dukes or somebody like that..
Yep, I wasn't too thrilled when I heard he was doing an interview, but he's gives interviews so rarely, so I'll watch. I know the whole "best QB" thing is gonna come up. Let's hope he doesn't take any more bait.

Sure enough, they just brought it up.

I don't understand why Joe doesn't just ignore the national media. They crucify him every chance they get, no one would blame him for not talking to them.

Overall I think it was decent. It was really short, so there wasn't a lot he could say or "mis-say". I was most surprised at the way the analysts reacted, though. Herm at least seems to think Joe is going to step up big this year.

Pretty short. Decent interview, though, thought he clarified the "best" comments well (not that they really needed clarification).

The analysts had some good things to say about him.

I wish it was Dukes so Joe could own him... Plus I would like to see if Dukes has enough cojones to say the stuff he says about Joe to his face.

This was a surprisingly positive look at us. It was also interestingly negative on the Steelers. Is ESPN finally going to start being objective?
Haha right? He wouldn't dare. To this day he still claims that he likes Joe. Jamie Dukes, take a seat.
Oh, I changed it to Wheel of Fortune as soon as the part about us was over lol. But that's interesting, I'll be sure to catch the replay.

Bill Polian thinks Flacco will be the divisional MVP next year. Maybe he knows something about Caldwell we don't, hmmm.

When was this interview taken place? Because he's at the Orioles game right now lol. Maybe he just changed his mind and didnt tell them. That would be so funny.

I watched it and I personally thought Joe nailed it based on the questions they asked him. He made sure to make things clear and even mentioned how the media blows everything out of proportion, haha. Good job Joe, now just keep at it this offseason.

I missed the interview, but from what everyone is saying it went pretty well, Now as far as all the clowns on ESPN and Jamie Dukes specifically Ive always caught on to these idiots taking cheap shots a Joe every chance they got but what they didn't know was that Joe Flacco is a stand up guy and isn't going to back down or decline an interview because they don't' ( or didn't) give him the respect he deserves. The fact that he did the interview just screams Joe Flacco's personality and is another reason why I love the guy he never turns the other cheek he just turns the negativity into motivation just like the great ones do! GO JOE!
