Don't say that, he's doing what we'd all do. I believe ray is as good or better a person than a lot of us that are pointing fingers at him. Myself included.

You say that, but as a financial adviser I think rice's behavior is in line without about 90% of the population.
if I was offered foster money which has been highly reported, I'd take it. I wouldn't risk playing under the tag and getting injured or losing money because I get another year and 400 touches under my belt and be considered "old".

So I must be in the 10 percent.

However if they are say 95 percent sure that same offer will still be there on July 16 you may as well try and hold out and hope they maybe give u 5 or 10 extra mil guar, or an extra year. But you can't be certain they don't withdraw the deal, so personally I'd take it.

I'm with you in that I would probably take the offer that is on the table (although I dont know what kind of money that is for certain). However, Rice not being in OTAs really is not a big deal. It may actually be beneficial to the team as the coaches are getting a real good look at the his potential back-ups. If Rice holds out during Training Camp then I would be somewhat concerned/critical of that decision. Ray doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would put hiimself ahead of the team though.

29 broken tackles in well over 300 touches is god awful..

and for the record, that pff article gave touches and broken tackles aswell as the percentages, so that article is stating nothing different.

You rarely see ray rice break tackles, zero gains, and turn them into a 3-4 yard gain. Id rather a consistent 3/4/5 yard runner in my backfield than a guy who can break a big one every now and then but has a lot of negative, zero, 1/2 yard runs. I know a lot can be attirbuted to the oline, do get me wrong, but a bigger stonger more elusive back could break a tackle and turn nothing into something, much like jamal lewis did.

This is the only problem I have with Rice and I always cite that Texans game at the goalline where Cam thought he was Jerome Bettis, especially that 4th down where slammed into some no name linebacker at full speed and didnt make a dent, Mcgahee would have put him on his [profanity deleted]. At the very least we need a regular change of pace on the ground.

I think this is 100% accurate, but majority of Ray's decision to hold out MAY BE coming from his agent. They really are vultures who want nothing but the best for the players (ie. themselves, they could care less about the player)..

Regardless what Ray Rice wants, at least we should see him at Mandatory Mini camp. I just read that under the new CBA, players will be fined for missing days. If a player misses one day, he'll be fined $10,000, if he skips a second day he will be fined $20,000 and if he misses three days he could be fined $30,000. So Ray, if you want to not lose money, come to camp this week and end your holdout!
he can't until he signs.. he won't sign until the last day probably, his agent will feel they lost any power if he signs.
