Call me biased, but i enjoy a power back as a #2, as much as i dont want Rice holding out. Thats ALOT.

I haven't seen too much video, or games played on Pierce so i dont know too much about him, but he looks like a speed/change of pace back in which we already have in Ray. I'd like a Rick Williams type of back up, who has great power and down hill running. But that doesn't mean i dont like the occassional mix up of other backs.

Whatever happens (Pierce/Allen/Berry) may the BEST man win the job.

Pierce isn't a speed back. He runs in between the tackles. He's a one-cut-and-go type of runner. Not a true power back, but not a speed back either.

That happened last season. I'm hoping Pitta's involvement increases, but there's no reason Q and Torrey should be the only WRs with noteworthy production in 2012.

I really rate Pitta in the passing game, I think Cam should try to utilise him more, he makes some great catches.

I think Streeter is going to have a hard time making the team.

Boldin
Torrey Smith
Jacoby Jones
LaQuan
Doss
David Reed (yes he will still make the team, he's the best KR at this point and Cam likes him)

Its possible the Ravens keep 7 WRs I guess and Streeter would probably be put on IR like Harewood and McAdoo to save them from possibly getting picked up on the practice squad. Streeter does have potential but he's pretty raw so expecting anything from him this year is too much....think about how often a late round WR or undrafted WR has come in and made an impact as a 4th or 5th WR....its NEVER happened...so to those expecting big things from Streeter year 1 I would lower those expectations

I wouldn't say never. Victor Cruz has certainly done quite well for an undrafted receiver. However, I agree that Expecting Streeter to be playing every game is unrealistic.

So you want to put 3 guys who have never fielded a kick in the NFL? It's good to have depth at kick returner.

Torrey was given one chance at returning a kick and took it for about 24 yards. Also he is the most talented at returning kicks. He was all ACC twice in his 3 year career for returning kicks.

I'm honestly unconcerned with Streeter right now. He may not touch the ball this year. I'm fine with that, I'd like to see Doss and Laquan get some burn though.

Same, I just don't know where they fit on the depth chart. 4th and 5th stringers don't usually get a lot of playing time.

Silver lining with Rice pouting is that we'll get a whole lot of Pierce, Allen, and Berry. I really want to see BP and see how Allen has progressed since last year.

i was just referring to the Ravens, even 3rd rounders like Doss ever come in and make a big contribution right away....LaQuan made a few catches...
