Cyhl Quarles?

Looked at some film on this guy.... He is a big fast safety with instincts and can tackle.... I see a lot of potential in him....what does everyone think?

There's potential there. The 4th safety spot is wide open between Sean Considine, Emanuel Cook, and Quarles (and maybe another UDFA, can't remember) right now. It really depends how much he contributes on ST. If not, I could definitely see him as a developmental guy on the practice squad.

Edit to say: He's a lot like Bernard Pollard. He's an aggressive, big hitter who excels in stopping the run from the defensive backfield. His coverage skills are suspect, but occasionally makes the great play.

I like him and safety Omar Brown. Quarles definitely has enough speed and size to handle bigger tight ends in press coverage

If he is a good ST player he will make the team. He is going to have to battle it out with the rookies for one of those last roster spots.
