This is going to get moved, but I'll let you know. There's some touristy spots (like the harbor) that are really nice this time of year. There's also a lot of other things to do. What type of stuff are you into? You can message me I love showing people around town.

The Inner Harbor is very nice to check it out. Catching an O's game is great this time of the year and Camden Yards is a great park to catch a game at. If you want great seafood head over to the Eastern Shore of MD.

What you do there really depends on what you are into. As arnie mentioned, the aquarium is world renowned and you should definately not miss your chance to experience it.

I'm thinking of going to the opener against the bungals, and was also wondering this. Info about the stadium would be appreciated too. Stuff like which sections are best (if any), how early to get there, any parking info, just any info that could be helpful. I also wanted to know what section the tunnel is that the team comes out. I really want to see Ray come out before he retires!!

Thanks!!!

You can find all of the stadium, parking, transportation, seating, etc., information you want on BaltimoreRavens.com. For the record, ALL sections are good. There are no bad seats.

The American Visionary Art Museum - south harbor, at the bottom of the hill from Ft McHenry - is an absolute must-see.
Can't even begin to describe how awesome it is.

Wow, OK. The Baltimore Ravens M&T Bank Stadium of course. The area around the stadium is actually real bad. Fair warning. Fells Point, Baltimore Zoo, Baltimore Harbor, awesome aquarium, Fort McHenry, and other places in Maryland.

A visit isn't a visit without a brisk stroll along the street with the city's namesake!

There are contingents of Ravens fans who attend various tailgate parties who speak your dialect. Some live here, others fly across the pond to attend individual Ravens games. Try Google search: "UK Ravens fans". You may find others from the British Isles willing to invite you to attend their parties. Depending upon how long you visit, you may also find the amateur local rugby or Gaelic football club matches. For professional outdoor soccer, you would have to journey to DC.

If you would rather mingle with us "Yanks", I recommend filling a disposable cooler with liquid refreshments and roam through the lettered stadium lots starting about 8:30 am for any home Sundays 1pm game. Carry a UK small banner or hat - you will be recognized and most likely invited to join. A couple years ago, we were visited by a handful from England, Wales and Eire, who each made capes of their nations' flags. Local news channel 45 spotted them visiting our tailgate party, making shots of our tailgate party the lead news item that evening.

If you are shy, an alternative to private tailgate partying is to walk along "Ravens Walk", on the Eutaw Promenade, between the baseball and football stadiums. You will find outdoor live entertainment under the viaduct, and several outdoor grills and bars selling refreshments at relatively fair prices.

Hello there,

My wife (who is a Giants fan) and I are coming from England for my first Ravens game in December – will be Ravens v Giants, naturally - and I was just wondering if there’s any do’s and don’ts (or “don’t go”s) as far as away fans are concerned?

I’ve never read or heard anything negative on that front as far as the Ravens are concerned, but just wanted to get your take on it – I’ve got English soccer history too badly burned in the psyche!

Once we knew the Ravens and Giants were going to play this year we were praying it would be in week 16 so we could spend Christmas and my birthday away, and our luck, as they say, was right in. We’re counting down the days already.

Thanks!

I'm also looking for parking info, if anyone can help. I'll be attending the Ravens/Bengals game on 9/10 with the Tailgate32 team and we need a place to park our RV and set up a tailgate. The Ravens website has very little information on how to purchase parking passes and I'm also finding conflicting information that Lot J is a pay lot (and I'm unsure if this is the only lot that you can park RV's in.) I also couldn't find a phone number to contact someone for parking info.

Can anyone help?

I'm really looking forward to our trip to Baltimore! I've never been to your city. :)

Thanks!

Amy

Closest Parking offers space for oversized vehicles in Lot 7. You can find them at http://ravensclosestparking.com/

There is also quite a bit of information and directions on our own website http://www.baltimore...Directions.aspx
There's even a number to call for more information.

[*]Engage your seat neighbors -- consider buying them a few beers.
[*]Play deaf around drunks and taunters - do not respond!
[*]Call. text stadium security if threatened or harassed - our stadium crew is great for maintaining order.
[*]Giants are not rivals, so there should be no hostility towards their fans, but you never know at NFL games.
[*]If the game is flexed to a later start time, consider not wearing Guinats colors. Some local fans will have had many hours of drinking.

Amy: Lot J should be your best bet. It is the closest lot to the stadium which has cash sales to RVs. We have tailgated in Lot J for years. It's lively, well-placed. But don't be in a hurry to leave post-game: it can take 1/2 hour to get onto the freeways if you try to leave right after the game. Night games are usually better for traffic because the crowds thin out. Here is contact data:
Central Parking Co.
351 West Camden Street (B&O Warehouse)
Suite 175
Baltimore, Md 21201

410-347-9330
There are some cash lots which can accommodate small RVs. Theses should be cheaper than Lot J, but further away. Some of the cash lots are too far away to recommend, especially for a night game. Here's contact data for the firm which manages many of these lots:
"Closest Parking"
Mt. Washington Mill
1340 Smith Avenue
Suite 200
Baltimore, MD 21209

410-779-1200
Thanks Mod4 - sounds like nothing to be concerned with above the "norm" for away fans at big events, and absolutely on getting to know the neighbours over a few beers.

Flights booked in now, so only, ooooh 5 months to go. Too long! At least there's some games going on over here to go an enjoy in the meantime.
