Sam Allardyce to be named the next England manager.

But anything that [profanity deleted] over Sunderland is great news in my books. And at least England will have an identity now.

Should World Cup be every 2 years?  I think so..Both men and women. My idea Men play world Cup in July for 2 weeks and then mid July women's world cup is next held in same city for 2 weeks. Can you imagine the economic impact that would have for a city?

There's other major tournaments that would conflict. Ain't happening.

Plus club obligations as well.  It's just not feasible.

Red Devils have spent their $ well this summer.  If Jose can revive the heartbeat they will be tough to beat in the PL this year.

Really great to see Arsenal collapse in the second half...

hello-darkness-gob-gif-wall-1.gif?w=650

Going to be another long season of ultimately being disappointed.

Nope, Big fan of the team though. At this rate next year will be our year, assuming we can start winning games in League One.

Sadly I think the mackems made a good hire with David Moyes, but hopefully that's not enough and they still drop without getting six gimmie points from us.

I have a good friend from Sunderland and over the years he's pulled me on board. Black Cats are my second to United.

Moyes was a great hire and they have some new talent in Kone, Januzaj, etc. that should make them a much more competitive side this year, especially when Kirchoff returns. Seems they found some $ somewhere!  lol

I would like to know what the atmosphere is like in Swansea, as I have a friend who's thinking of taking myself and a couple of others I know to a Swansea City match with the next season or two.

You could go to their website, join as a user and get on to the Swans fan boards. Sure you could get info there.

There are other sites out there too, with some no doubt going into more detail about what it's like as a fan. I know Welsh fans in general have a great reputation though, so I'd expect it's a good time.

I meant to put the next post here, but something went wrong.  I apologize.

I've just checked the link, and it looks very good - I hope I'll be able to take in a match at Liberty Stadium someday soon.

Thanks, friends.

I know that the Premier League season is only seven weeks old, but what's happened to Swansea City?  I would hate to see the side relegated.

Well, that didn't happen

Second half looked like boys against men. Costa Rica is good, but are they that good?

I've just checked the Premier League standings, and while i'm pleased with the performance of Watford, Spurs and Everton, I'm dismayed by the performance of Hammers, Leicester City and especially Swansea City.

I welcome your comments in this concern.

As long as Sunderland drop I'm happy.

But they'll probably find a way to eke out 18 points in the last 8 games and survive as they always do.

It could happen, Inqui - still, I believe that anything is possible in the Premier League.

Bob Bradley has been fired at Swansea City, I notice.

I suppose Swans are looking at ways to avoid relegation - at least for now.

I hope my boys chelsea can beat spuds and go 14 straight breaking a regular season win streak record. Will be harder at spurs ground though.

I'm hoping for at least a Spurs draw and a Liverpool win so we close the gap a little bit from 6 points. There's going to be a time when results aren't going your way, it'll be interesting to see how the entitled section of your fanbase deals with that.

He should never have been hired, it's an absolute farce. Now they go and hire Clement who struggled in the Championship with one of the league's better teams, it's not going to end well IMO.

Entitled? I spose there are some fans like that in most fanbases but if any fans feel entitled to winning the title it's liverpool fans who have felt that way for 20 plus years. Then again reading dailymail and rawk forum comments give me this impression. Arsenal tv is good fun to watch after a bad result too. Conte has been brilliant in his first year here.

Oh and yeah swansea have been terribad this season, I hope sunderland goes down with swansea and westham. But only 2/3 might happen.
