Good to see another Liverpool fan around here. From Manchester - that's a real bonus.

It's a bonus when we win but a massive pain in the backside when we lose haha. I'm looking forward to our next group of fixtures though: Swansea (H), Newcastle (A), West Brom (H), Watford (A), Leicester (H), Sunderland (A). Not that worried about Leicester, they've only faced two of the usual top 7 teams and have only got 1 point from them.

Is Marcus Rashford for real?  Pretty amazing start of a career for an 18 year old home grown.

I wonder how old will he be when Barcelona, Real or Milan take him. 21? 22?

Johan Cruyff lost a battle with cancer aged 68. One of those truly special players for whom it can be said revolutionized the game. I was just a kid then but will never forget the Ajax from early 70s.

RIP

Even better, there was a complete chaos between Chelsea and Spurs players in the tunnel at the end of the game

Arguably the best sporting story ever. There have been a lot of good one-time upsets but Leicester managed to do it repeatedly over the course of a season against some mega-spenders.

Meanwhile, when I head to the UK this week there's still a chance I get to be there to see my boys (Newcastle) get relegated. Yay.

It was getting to that point. Why the ref didn't draw a red a the end there is beyond me. Some of the challenges from spurs players looked pretty malicious and I say this as someone who despises Chelsea.

Interesting......... and an extremely obscure connotation I think. I have friends from the UK that are Red Devil fans and use the term Man U regularly. Not sure this has survived into the 21st century. I'd be interested to get a read from our UK friends on these boards.

Not obscure at all. Songs about Munich and using Man U in a derogatory manner are used by opposition fans all the time and is very much alive today. It should be common knowledge for United fans, but I don't blame fans of other teams for not knowing it and it's probably even harder to know if you're not from the UK. Many United supporters from my country use "Man U", but it's a pet peeve of mine when people use it.

Just read it. I wasn't actually, I wouldn't normally say man u right enough. Normally just say utd but when I was talking to Americans I wasn't sure if they would know what I meant by utd so used the man u term because I know that's how they are known in usa.

All that was before my time so i never knew how it originated.
