Welcome home ronnie. Love utd we do love utd we do love utd we do ohhhhhhh utd we love you

man I feel for you this morning... even being a die hard Liverpool FC and Real Madrid supporter I can relate with you that is always wrong for a ref to decide a game... think on the brightside, you get the premiership title this year anyway so can hope for revenge vs the spaniards next season

Still should have won though, has plenty of chances. Luck wasn't on our side last night just. But the decision was a farce. I dunno if I've seen a worse red card. A least if someone goes in two footed you can see how that's dangerous. But that? I dunno what the ref seen.

two very good champions league semifinals, much better than teams from both countries playing together - can hope for a Real vs Bayern final now

Agreed. I'll be mildly surprised if we don't get a Madrid-Bayern final as well.

On another note, hoping Arsenal handle business tomorrow and move into 4th.

Sergio Aguero should not be allowed to play another game for the rest of this season at the very least after his assault of David Luiz in the FA Cup. He's an embarrassment to professional sports.

Also, English officials REALLY need improving. If only every referee was as good as Pier Luigi Colina.

Shameful from Aguero. Didn't know he had that in him.

Collina was awesome.

I know that question wasn't directed at me, but as a kiwi I love rugby. Don't really follow the European club competitions though, just the international stuff and what we get here.

And for what it's worth, here's the Aguero stamp. While it deserves a heavy suspension, I absolutely despise Chelsea so Luiz gets no sympathy from me.

This incensed me to the point that I'm ecstatic about Man U winning the league. I now hate Man City more than I do United, thanks to the actions of Aguero and, to a lesser extent, Kompany.

Aguero is an embarrassment to football and should be suspended for the rest of the season. Knowing the FA he won't, so I hope a Wigan player ends his season instead.

no way he's not, no pool fan would hate any other team more than United - well only Everton twice a season or so ;o)

ps by the fair(play) comment would say Clutch is one of Reed's Arsenal lads

Not really. Unless Wales is playing a big game, I just don't have the zeal to watch a game. I don't think I could follow a fouth sport with American football, football/soccer as a whole and the NBA taking up my attention year-round.

After my Aguero rant, you can imagine how I feel about Luiz Suarez and his attempt to eat Branislav Ivanovic's arm.

This is now the SECOND time he has bitten a player in game and the only reason he didn't draw blood is that Ivanovic threw him off. Suarez is a psychotic, depraved individual. He should have his work permit rescinded and deported back to Uruguay. If any other foreign worker did something similar to this they would be deported and I feel Suarez deserves the same.

Vile, vile human being.

he also scores loads of goals and probably will get a suspension, not like aguero - but from a sporting fault to deporting a person there are miles to walk

It's not a sporting fault, it's genuine assault. Just because he did it during the game does not make it any less of an issue. He did it before at Ajax too, making, in my opinion, 2 clear, caught on camera cases of assault. If any other normal person were working in Europe on a work permit and were found guilty of assault twice they would have their work permit rescinded and be deported. Suarez, as a person, does not deserve the opportunity to ply his trade in Europe.

i understand your upset with the way the game finished and how suarez behaved, which myself as a liverpool fc supporter i find being class-less, but you cannot be serious when asking that somebody needs to get deported from a country, and more so a continent, just because he bit somebody during a professional game - justice doesn't work like that, personal injuries will be settled in court if ivanovic want to follow this route, and on the sporting avenue he'll get a big-ish suspension

please let's not over-react to such things, it's not helping anyone

I don't feel it is an over-reaction and this is hours after the game. He is just like any other worker here on a work permit. If they were to be found guilty of assault once (which biting most definitely is, whether it's on a football pitch or on the street) they would most likely have their work permit rescinded and sent home. This is now strike two for this psychopath and if he was treated like a normal person he'd have his work permit rescinded. That's not an over-reaction, it's what would happen if he weren't a "professional" footballer.

only a criminal offense would rescind a work permit and this is not one, no matter of profession - he's more likely to play for chelsea next season than ivanovic making a claim against him; and to be honest i've seen worse things happening on a football pitch than this, like a broken foot ending somebody's career, instances that more often than not don't even get a line in the papers, not talking headline; trust me here please, at any level of life nowadays, this would get settled outside court - by excuse or payment

I agree with Clutch. Suarez has no place in English Football. 2 assaults caught on camera, just because it was on a pitch it doesn't make it 'passable'. If he was a Polish guy on a night out and he had 2 incidents where he assaulted someone he'd be out on his butt.

this is actually a good read on the subject at hand http://www.( profanity deleted).co.uk/sport/0/football/22248105

i specifically like Lawro's comment:

"What Luis Suarez did has absolutely no place in football and he is going to get - and deserves - an extremely lengthy ban. You cannot bite people anywhere, let alone on a football field. It is the type of thing you do when you are a baby. He's a world-class player but he gives you world-class trouble."

Mercenary scoring a goal.

I know you'll understand my reasoning for the neg, arnie. Great strike nonetheless.

Looking forward to Sunday. I'd be ecstatic for a draw (sad I can even write that).

I cancelled the neg. Great goal by a great player, finally getting his hands on the PL silverware.

Well deserved.

Top scorer and player of the year is next.

I'm looking forward to Sunday too. Going to be interesting to see Arsenal standing guard of honour for RVP.

He might have gotten his hands on some silverware while at Arsenal had he stayed healthy or stepped up when the team truly needed him save for one year.

As for "Player of the Year", Bale deserves it much more. Van Persie went some 2 months without scoring while Bale been consistently great.

Very interesting. Whatever happens, I know Koscielny will barrel into RVP down at some point.
