I think the Germans will win this one. To be honest, with the amount of talent they had on that team over the years, it's long overdue. I'll be cheering for Argentina, though. Gotta love the underdog. Also, living in Germany, I just want to see the reaction in this country, if they lose. Everyone is soooo sure they'll win.

The scary thing is Germany could be better in 2018.

They have so much talent from top to bottom.  The only thing I think they're missing is a speedy wing back on D.  They do just fine without one, but imagine if the opposition had one more thing to worry about on that team.

need a lb and a striker. Teams better with muller at right forward.

Agreed. It's such a shame talents like Reus and Gundogan couldn't play a part in this part. They should be squarely in their primes come 2018 though. Scary indeed.

And Brazil gives up a goal in 2 minutes.

Surprised they gave it to him in the box and that Silva wasn't sent off.

There is the 2nd.  Will Brazil get blown out again?

Agree.

I figured the Dutch had this one.  Turns out Silva might not have been the problem in the last one.

I've got Germany winning 3-1 tomorrow.

I think Brazil should be happy to make it this far.  They really haven't played exceptionally well throughout the tournament.

They're young team who lacks talent overall.  Neymar seems like a guy on his way to becoming one of the top players in the world, and without him they can't really compete.

Exactly.  No one except Neymar really stands out on that team.  The have some talent, but it's nowhere near the Brazil of years past.

Huh ... I lived in Germany when they won in 1990. I rooted for them then because I wanted to see the pandemonium. I continue to root for them, simply because of my having lived there for 5 yeas and having made good friends that are still there and who are ardent supporters of their national soccer team.

Does Hulk know that the object of this game is to put the ball in the big square net and not all of the area around it?

This is absolutely ridiculous, and CBF wants to keep Scolari. Such a terrible outdated coach.

Why didn't Silva get sent off for this?

Ah well, Brazil had the refs to thank for getting as far as they did and they got shown up.

Hummels has me worried over there.  Look at how many guys Argentina is keeping back though, they're still playing defensively, but I guess that's what got them here.

Argentina is playing them tight, not leaving Germany all the space that they used against Brazil.  It's the best strategy they could be using honestly.
