According to the roster, Dickson is 10 lbs heavier than Pitta and if you look at them Dickson just looks bigger. I agree that they are both athletic, but I think Dickson has been the better of the two in run-blocking, even though he hasnt been overly impressive.

both of them suck at blocking, so much that I would consider bringing in a 3rd tackle just for run plays lol. I don't know how many times I saw them get killed on perimeter runs. And people wonder why we run it up the gut so much! Let me answer that for you: McKinnie, Dicksom, and Pitta. That is why we run it up the gut so much.

This is a sad reality. If you noticed, we mainly ran through Birk and Yanda. After Yanda became injured, it really hurt our run offense. Yanda was superior to Grubbs as a run blocker. In the AFCCG, Birk was our best lineman which is sad.

I believe the reason Pitta and Dickson were so bad at blocking is because of the lockout. If I recall correctly, Pitta and Dickson were not polished at blocking coming out of college. Not having an offseason hurt their progression. I feel like their blocking will be improved this year. I expect Pitta to have a huge year.
