Not as fast as we think. I just think the Raiders didnt watch the Bengals game and they underestimated his speed.

I said romo speed, probably because I just want him to run faster when im playing with the Ravens, but hey, he outran a DE on the way to the td, plus he has a 38ish yard td run, he cant be too slow.

I think he looks slower then he is bc of his 6'7" frame. Looks like a lumberjack, but he can move

He runs a 4.8/40 yard dash. When he's being chased, probably a 4.7. I've seen records of him running between 4.7 and 4.85.

Don't know what his speed is, but he won the Scramble event in the QB competition, and that has to mean something...
but no doubt he has deceptive speed.
I seriously think Flacco should bulk up like Big Ben and work on his speed to take advantage of another of his abilities...imo

Good point. He was faster than all the other major draft QB's in the agility/cone drills. I think only one of them matched his 40-time.

When flacco ran the cone drill, they thought that he wasn't hustling enough...turns out he won that!

john madden is giving the players the speed like they ran the 40 yard dash but i think the 40 yard dash is not a real good think to look after the speed cause in the game it

Oh yeah. I know in the beginning of the season, Flacco was being compared to Big Ben and when the Ravens lost 3 in a row all of the comparisions to Ben went away and now it looks like ESPN may be writing out another report saying how Joe is a newer younger Big Ben. But lets see Joe can Throw, Run, Block, and Catch. I am guessing the only thing that is left is to see if he can play defense and get an interception or sack.

I'm sure Flacco is faster than he is in Madden, he's got speed similiar to Roethlisberger.
