Predict Our Record

Week 1: vs Bengals; Win. Dalton has a sophomore slump.
Week 2: @ Eagles; Lose. A close game, they have a history of doing well against us.
Week 3: vs. Patriots; Win. We stop them this time and silence critics.
Week 4: vs. Browns; Win. They are the Browns.
Week 5: @ Kansas City; Win. Kansas City still has Cassel.
Week 6: vs. Cowboys; Win. Romo against Ed Reed doesn't sound too good..for them.
Week 7: @ Texans; Win. A close and contested game that we narrowly win.
Week 8: WIN!!!! Yes, I predict 6-1 at the Bye.
Week 9: @ Browns; Win. The Browns.
Week 10: vs. Raiders; Win. Flying across the country is hard, even for Elite QBs like Palmer, lol.
Week 11: @ Steelers; Win. Despite their draft, I still seeing us beat them. We have Upshaw and Kruger with a violent secondary.
Week 12: @ Chargers; Lose. Flying across country is hard, even for the #1 QB in the league add in the short week.
Week 13: vs. Steelers; Win. This time, we beat them again--in our house.
Week 14: @ Redskins; Win. Practically a home game.
Week 15: vs. Broncos; Win. This will be a hard game against Peyton Manning, but I believe we win off of the hands of Ed Reed.
Week 16: vs. Giants; Win. After slaying Peyton, we finish off the Other Manning and show people we should have won the Super Bowl.
Week 17: @ Bengals; Win. We beat them because the fans have lost interest because the Bengals have a bad year again and Dalton has a sophomore slump combined with AJ Green being out due to injuries.

Some of you may really disagree with me here, but I do see 14-2 season.

I'm going to be a realist, and say that 9-7 is a possibility. With the inconsistency of our offense last year, tough schedule, and our losses to below .500 teams last year, you simply can't say "We won't be 9-7" I will also say, 14-2 is a possibility. It just depends on the consistency of the offense, and how the defense reacts to losing Suggs.

We'll be somewhere between 9-7 and 14-2.

With or without Suggs I truly belive that our D this year is going to be one of the best of all time our secondary is so stacked no joek teams will have to run the ball the whole game our secondary with a whole offseason will be the best and our rush ya it wont be nearly as good without TSIZZLE but think about what teams are really lucky enough to have a guy like him and I trust in our depth Courtney and sergio and paul are all above average pass rushers considering that Sergio will be healthy I think we can make a super bowl run a TSIZZLE will make his comeback in the playoffs with our home divisional game going 12-4 and going to the super Bowl thats just my honest thought im ready for this season

6-10 I see so many problems with this team. Oline- could really struggle next year. I think the two first ballot hall of famers (ed reed and Ray Lewis) finally call it a career after a dissapointing season. Look for both the Steelers and Ravens to take a huge step back. It time for the new blood in the division to take their place a top the division.

considering our schedule and the current state of events i say worst case we go 9-7 or best case we do 12-4. this is one of the toughest schedules and i think we will be doing 11-5 if i had to put money on it

Why even bother honestly, there really is no point. Lets get to the preseason and you still cant really go off of that. Flacco always has terrible Preseason and then tears it up in the regular.

But to guess, i d say 10 n 6, Might be more wins but wouldn't be surprised if we lost more. We can't keep winning, especially when your losing players and coaches every yr like the RAVENS org. , Other teams don't have to deal with losses like us yr in and yr out.

LOLOL coming from a RAIDERS Fan, come on bud just because your team is barely a step above the BROWNS doesn't mean your team is good. I would love for the RAVENS to be in your division. Easy pickings every yr.

Gotta disagree with the Eagles, we whopped them bad last time we played. We took D.Mcnabb out of the game. That game was great, ED Reed running all the way back for a T.D, Priceless.

Week 1: vs Bengals; Win. We protect homefield on our MNF Game
Week 2: @ Eagles; Win. We show that the dream team is overated as is Mike Vick
Week 3: vs. Patriots; Lose. As much as I hate to say it, going up against Brady without Suggs means their TE will do damage. Close game, but they will squeak it out
Week 4: vs. Browns; Win. They are the Browns and will stuck and go 0-6
Week 5: @ Kansas City; Win. Kansas City still has Cassel. Berry and Charles coming back from acl means we will be okay
Week 6: vs. Cowboys; Win. Romo against Ed Reed doesn't sound too good..for them.
Week 7: @ Texans; Win. A close and contested game that we narrowly win.
Week 8: 6-1 at the Bye
Week 9: @ Browns; Win. Again Richardson will give them no more of an edge than Hillis gave them. Teams have improved a lot since then and they will go 0-6.
Week 10: vs. Raiders; Win. As much as Palmer is a Raven Killer, Mcfadden should be injured by now and this team is cake without him
Week 11: @ Steelers; Lose. Steelers protect homecourt and win in a close one
Week 12: @ Chargers; Lose. Flying across country is hard, even for the #1 QB in the league add in the short week.
Week 13: vs. Steelers; Win. We have our usual split with the steelers
Week 14: @ Redskins; Win. Practically a home game.
Week 15: vs. Broncos; Lose. This will be a hard game against Peyton Manning, but if he's healthy he is one of the only qbs in the league that can pull this off
Week 16: vs. Giants; Win. Our secondary can deal with Cruz and Nicks. Eli with will throw multiple picks.
Week 17: @ Bengals; Win. We win a close one in our usual fashion vs dalton and stop him at the end to secure our playoff position
I do see 12-4 season. This schedule is easier than last years believe it or not as it will test our D rather than our O and we only have to play possibly 2-3 top offenses compared to the 9 out 10 top 10 defenses we had to play last year
My toss up games are the Giants week 16, the Bengals week 17, Steelers at pit and Chargers

Just as comparison here is my prediction for the Bengals. No need to really do the other two teams as we know how they will likely finish. Pitt will have 10+ wins most likely 12-4 and the Browns will not be relevant and compete with the Vikings for the 1st overall pick.

Week 1: Monday, Sept. 10, at Baltimore, 7:00 PM - They lose to us as we protect our house
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16, Cleveland, 1:00 PM - Easy win. Its the Browns and they did not fix their run D or WR.
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 23, at Washington, 1:00 PM - Win. Despite getting RG3 the skins still suck
Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30, at Jacksonville, 4:05 PM - Easy win. Gabbert LOL
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 7, Miami, 1:00 PM - No marshall, no weapons, backup qbs galore. Easy win
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 14, at Cleveland, 1:00 PM - Again another win.
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 21, Pittsburgh, 8:20 PM - Loss
Week 8: BYE - Bengals are 6-1 going into the Bye like ourselves
Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 4, Denver, 1:00 PM - Loss. Peyton will own this young defense
Week 10: Sunday, Nov. 11, NY Giants, 1:00 PM - Loss. Their secondary wont be able to handle the giants WR nor will their line stop the pass rushing prowess of this team
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 18, at Kansas City, 1:00 PM - Win. KC doesnt have the weapons on either side of the ball to keep up.
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 25, Oakland, 1:00 PM - Win. Mcfadden injured by now + grudge match
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 2, at San Diego, 4:15 PM - San Diego late in the season. Loss
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 9, Dallas, 1:00 PM - Again the receiving options prove too much and Romo has a great game. Loss
Week 15: Thursday, Dec. 13, at Philadelphia, 8:20 PM - Philly plays well late in the season. Loss
Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 23, at Pittsburgh, 1:00 PM - Pitt beats them soundly to secure their playoff position. Loss
Week 17: Sunday, Dec. 30, Baltimore, 1:00 PM - Loss. We secure our positon and Sizzle returns in break out form.

8-8

Toss up games week 17 against the Ravens. If it goes according to plan, and playoffs are on the line, they will give us a run for our money. Eagles depending on Vick's health. We should have no problem making playoffs or competing for the division crown.

I thought about that, but I couldn't give the win to the Giants. I think we match up well against them. The Bengals I see having a slump due to Dalton having one of his own. Steelers and Chargers were tough to call, but I still believe the Steelers have an off-year again and we beat them. The Chargers, I believe, take advantage of our Steelers' matches.

I honestly think we sweep our division again. Not worried about the chargers cuz its a different ball game without v-jax. I think we sweep the nfc east. Why? Romos the NFL's biggest and one of the most overrated choke artists next to matt "cant win a playoff game nor score in one" ryan. I think the redskins give us a run though but cant pull the W out. And i think we beat the giants. I know they won the SB and dont even ask where this is coming from but everytime i hear or see something about the giants i automatically think overrated. Texans might beat us im about 60% leaning towards them. I think we beat peyton. the eagles? Vick will possibly be injured or may get injured so somehow or another he may not play us or it will be limited but i do see them as a tough matchup but even though they underachieved i still see them as overrated. The rest im still unsure of

Week 1: vs Bengals; Win- Season opener, we are hard to beat at home, secondary steps up
Week 2: @ Eagles; Win- i trust vick as far as i can throw him, but since its in philly i give them a chance
Week 3: vs. Patriots; Win- Joe finally beats brady and we get credit for being a elite team at 3-0
Week 4: vs. Browns; Win- trent richardson meet real defense
Week 5: @ Kansas City; Win- Cassel is still over rated, Only chance they have is in their run game, Charles' speed is insane
Week 6: vs. Cowboys; Win- Our house, i think it will be a very good game, our secondary vs their WRs
Week 7: @ Texans; Loss-They get the best of us, foster has big game. Their D is good and our O line isnt
Week 8: bye
Week 9: @ Browns; Win- Rice has monster game
Week 10: vs. Raiders; Win- i just dont think they have the right weapons to beat us, palmer throws 3ints
Week 11: @ Steelers; Loss- they have this date circled...their house, close game, 24-20
Week 12: @ Chargers; Loss- we never do good after a steelers game, this in diego, the traveling will kill us
Week 13: vs. Steelers; Win- our house and we get revenge, joe has big game
Week 14: @ Redskins; Win- Young team shows signs of a good future, just not on this day
Week 15: vs. Broncos; Win- We get to manning a lot and shut down their one wr
Week 16: vs. Giants; Loss- their front 7 is awesome, their pass attack will be good and run game, close game but i think they pull it off somehow
Week 17: @ Bengals; Loss- I just see us losing this game after a hard physical week against the giants

And add one Loss in there, most likely a team we should beat. gives me my guess of 10-6. I just think we have a brutual schedule, week 11-13 especially, honestly wouldnt be suprised if we lost all three of those games, obviously i hope not

Dalton won't have a down year. If you notice a trend in the afc north, it doesnt normally happen to qbs that play here. The reason is playing as a qb in this division is like playing on the hardest difficulty of a game. The more you play it, the easier it gets. Flacco improved year 2, So did Carson Palmer, so did Big Ben, hell even boller improved year 2. The sophomore slump isnt really characteristic of the Afc North because the qbs are faced with the most complicated defensive schemes they will ever see their first year in. Besides Dalton got a running game (well its better than benson), a couple of new WR so he doesnt have to throw to Green all the time, and some o line help.

Now I'm not saying he will be great or anything and pull a palmer where he throws 31 and 12, but 3500 yds 20 tds and 10 ints or something along those lines of improvement wouldnt be out of the question

As for my tossups, the steelers seem to have improved their o line and should that pan out rushing big ben will be harder than ever especially without Suggs. The Bengals will play us tough if a playoff appearence is on the line, which from my prediction it very well may be. Also, the giants has to be a toss up matchup, they are the defending champs

I'm going to go with 11-5, tied with PIT for the division. Will come down to tiebreakers for the divisional crown.
I think Cincy will go 10-6.

Suggs is a big loss, he's the best player on this team. But the fact that you could make a strong argument for five other guys being our best player (Reed, Ngata, Rice, Ray and Webb) just goes to show how stacked this team is. Between Upshaw, Kruger and Kindle, we will be fine at OLB. Remember that The Jimmy will probably be our #2 this season, and that might make our starting corners the best in the league. I think our defense will be more affected either positively or negatively by the new DC than anything else, so really we are in the same position we are in as last year (which is a good thing!!).

Like I said all of last year, we are going to go as far as our OL takes us.

W vs. Bengals - Opening up in Baltimore is not where anybody wants to start their season. We win a 2 possesion game
L @ Eagles - The trend of losing after a big win may continue. Trent Cole might tear us a new one
W vs Patriots - This one is circled on the big board. Ravens will want this one far more than the Patriots will
W vs. Browns - The Browns still have a lot to work one, As long as Richardson doesn't give us the Hillis treatment, we'll be fine
L @ Chiefs - Trap game, we are better than them on paper but idk. I felt this way about Seattle last year
W @ vs Cowboys - A very balanced team, if we can shud down that young RB we can win this game
L @ Texans - The Texans can be the #1 team in the AFC if Arian Foster doesn't self distruct
W @ Browns - After a bye week, all the young guns are refreshed and ready to go
W vs Raiders - Carson Palmer might make this game exciting, but your not beating B-More at home
W @ Steelers - Would be a different story if this game was early in the year, but they are beat up at this point
W @ Chargers - Really tired of playing in San Diego. But whatever, no V-Jax no problem
L vs Steelers - yea, they may come back angry and sneak us at home
W @ Redskins - Take care of them Skins, it's far from a home game because Skin fans are loyal but we win a tight one
W vs Broncos - Team is overated, could potentially miss the playoffs imo
L vs Giants - I remeber the last time we played the Giants they gave us the smack down, could see them besting us again
W @ Bengals - Finish the season strong, and win a close one in Cinci

11-5 and the #2 or #3 seed in the AFC

Is what you said for your original justification. You mention "last time" we played them, which is no longer relevant. Both teams are very different, and much better. I highly doubt that we will whoop them like we did "last time"

i will say we have a tough schedule but it is doable. losing suggs is a tough blow. the ravens are probably thinking the media is writing us off this year becuase of the suggs injury. when week 1 hits the ravens are coming with an attitude and are going to be coming at teams hard. we will adjust we always do. 11-5 or 12-4 is not out of the question. plus with caldwell coaching joe, is only only get better. the only thing that worries me is our dc coach dean pees. i know the guy knows defense and i have read the forums but can he continue what we had last and make us better or worse. we have always used exotic blitzes etc... i dont think coach pees does that.
