Maybe basketball was his workout.

Did this happen this morning or is it just being reported now?
Luckily there is still hope, it is not confirmed by the team yet.

I will say when I checked my phone and saw the word Terrell "my mind went to , dang it, we signed Owens". I would love to go back to that thought and make it true lol

I don't think it will hinder him past this season but you never know. It's not like an ACL tear where it can drastically change the player's performance. Achilles tendon injuries can be bad, but I think he will be fine long-term.

I agree. I'm just excited to see how Kindle, Kruger, Upshaw, and McClellan take advantage of this opportunity. I really hope we do not trade for someone.

Achilles are long term injuries, especially for a DE/OLB who propels forward suddenly. Not good!!!

I don't understand how they are claiming the entire season though. In 3 months, he should be able to start training lightly and by 6 months, he should be up to speed. October?

Next man up! The sky is NOT falling. Our pass rush is taking a step back, but with guys like Lewis and Reed still on the team, this defense will find a way to thrive like it always does. Our offense is also improving so I don't see making the playoffs being a problem.

Are we confirming that? Aaron Wilson and the fan are saying Working out in Arizona, schefter saying basketball.

Not sure...I am seeing more sources saying bball. Who knows yet.

First and foremost, I want to wish Suggs a quick recovery. It doesn't matter how long it takes to get the DPOY on the field. Meanwhile, it's finally time to see how Kruger, Upshaw, Kindle, and McPhee can handle the workload. I agree that we don't need to rush out and sign someone. Let's give the players on the roster a chance to shine.

Things happen in 3! The number 55! Seau dies, Suggs tears, Schultz sucks.
Not to be insensitive, but what does Seau have to do with Baltimore sports? Besides that was yesterday...

Adam Schefter usually is 99% with his sources.... If Mortenson or John Clayton had a different account of the injury events then I would wonder....

Well Adam could be wrong since Suggs says it happen doing some conditioning workouts.. In the end it doesn't really matter I guess...

Suggs done for the year...Thats a blow...Upshaw really needs to step up big this year. Im so bummed out right now, Suggs is a player i look forward to watching every sunday. Thank God we did draft Upshaw, maybe there was a reason we did...Also, Trading for Osi Umenyoria wouldn't be a bad idea now...

Not saying he does. Just all wear 55 and this all went down in a 24 hr period.

He will probably be out for the entire season, but I could see us put him on PUP at the beginning and see how he heals from his surgery before deciding.

I have no words to describe how I feel now..

I'm going to start homering Upshaw to make me feel better.

Well we fought through adversity before. We can do it again.

Offense is going to have to take it to another level.

You have to remind us about how the season ended too?

We're in big trouble... hard to replace 14 sacks and 7 FF. Offensive Coordinators can triple team Ngata now and no longer have to gameplan around Suggs. Steelers and Bengals instantly become the favorites to take back the AFC North. This sucks :(

I was thinking the same thing but I think PUP list is the best option, see how he's doing then and go from there. Hopefully he's a fast healer.

The secondary too... having that great pass rush made our DBs look really good. Webby, The Jimmy, and Cary are going to earn their money this year.

P.S. I think Ozzie needs to call Jerry Reese and figure out a way to get Osi in here ASAP.

I see what your saying. Maybe it should count in order to get three things out of the way. We don't want Holby to tear a groin muscle stretching....

In theory it would be nice. But the Giants know we'd be right for the picking, and Ozzie doesn't like to be plucked.

Why!!!!!! I will never understand these guys, this is not good.
Well at least he wasn't stupid and riding around on a motorcycle without a helmet. I don't blame Suggs. I hope he has a fast recovery.

I think he tries to play and work his way into rotation before playoffs. I'm not sure how being in the boot will affect his play though. I'm hoping it was a strain or whatever the easiest injury to recover from is.
