You all are kind of mean. This thread was made before the injury and made sense then. We dont have the money to resign Kruger next year and wouldve made sense to at least get something in return for a second round pick who's rarely played til last year. On the topic of trading people I'm still willing to trade Rice depending on what we could get in return.

Even before Suggs got hurt, it's a bad idea for precisely what happened. If we had traded Kruger before Suggs got injured, we'd be relying on guys with little to no experience taking his spot. You don't trade good, cheap depth.

I think that depends on who we have as depth. I don't think it would have been an issue if McAdoo, Kindle, and McClellan stepped up in practice and showed a lot of promise. It's unfortunate what happened but that's the way it is. If our depth was better we could have traded Kruger. Our depth is currently very untested so that's where I think the whole issue is with trading Kruger and where I agree with you.

Anyway, we should stop beating a dead horse here. I think everyone, even the OP, knows this is a bad idea now. The thread was only meant to discuss the possibility anyway because others brought up the idea and I'm guessing he wanted to see what people thought.
