Ravens Sign Ma'ake Kemoeatu

Seems interesting that we'd go this route. I don't see how he's an upgrade over Jean-Baptiste or Kitchen, especially since he didn't even play last year. Thoughts?

I think he is a camp body. We're going to look at him compared to The Kitchen and The Baptist. Whoever wins will make the team and the other to the PS. If Kemoeatu makes the team, then only one of them would obviously go to the PS. The other one may become 'injured' in camp.

Cool signing, though. Any idea what the contract was?

Yeah I'm definitely thinking camp body. I just don't understand why we'd go with a guy who hasn't played in a year, and only one year in the past 3 as well.

Another low cost experienced defensive player to throw into the mix. At least Ngata will have another Tongan on the team to hang out with during camp. Maybe this will push Cody to lose a few pounds and get in better shape before camp.

On Ma'ake, he'll be a camp body or possibly depth behind Cody if we don't trust Kitchen and Jean-Baptiste.
