2012 NBA Playoffs

The Mavs are atleast making these games with OKC close. They have only been a shot away in both games.

Now that Amare may be out. I believe the Knicks have a better chance. Its crazy how much better they are without him.

I say that celtics play Heat in East and Spurs play Thunder in West. Celtics win in 7 and Thunder win in 6. And unfortunantly Thunder beat Celtics in 6.

Kobe was in beast mode tonight. If him and Bynum can keep this up they might be able to get Kobe another ring.

Unfortunately I'm a Knicks fan, not going too well and that's partially because the Heat are Hollywood as hell. I wouldn't mind the Thunder or Spurs winning it all though. No other team from the East has a chance. I would root for the Grizzlies too cause they're tough, but physical teams won't win with the way they call Finals games now.

Sure lol. Even though after the finals last year I told my self the Heat will win it, but I dont believe it anymore. They could if LeBron was clutch. :P

I bet the Heat will lose to either the Thunder,Spurs,Lakers or Grizzlies in the finals.

One series doesn't define him as a player. I was obviously thrilled when he signed with the Heat, but I still didn't consider myself a LeBron fan, until this year. I really believe he'll stay aggressive and play well into and through the NBA Finals.

Fair enough. I bet Miami wins it all.

We'll see...
Dont get me wrong LeBron is probably the greatest all around player right now, skill wise. But I just don't think he's got the clutchness in him. I think the way he did CLE was wrong lol. And even though it's legal, I don't like how he always flops.

While there are a bunch of examples of LeBron passing up game-winning shot opportunities, he's also stepped up and made that shot or played great defense a number of times too. He's not as cold-blooded as Jordan or Kobe, but he's capable of producing in crunch time.

How should he have handled the Cleveland situation?

I think his flopping is hilarious.

He shouldnt have made a press conference about taking his talents to south beach lol. I know its a tough decision to make, but he should have told them a year before that he will leave if they dont sign anyone to play around him. That way they could have atleast gotten something for him and not have to rebuild.

I think flopping is ruining the game.

Couldn't agree more.

I am a Bulls fan, and know without Rose we don't have a shot to take the Heat on in a best of 7 series. But since the Bulls lost, I think the team who I had them playing in the 'ship, the Thunder, will take the trophy home to OKC this year.

This year hasn't exactly been spectacular to be a Bulls/Ravens fan. Heart breakers.

Which is what I am lol. I like the Knicks & Bulls. But since Baltimore doesnt have a team, I dont take it that serious though.

Meh. NBA stars aren't that compassionate. The best not only want max deals, but they would like to be surrounded by relatively good players. The Cavs should have known they could lose him if they didn't make better moves. They might have been dominating the regular season, but they obviously didn't have the talent to play well in post-season.

It's been around for ages. Vlade Divac?

I just searched him up. More like Vlade Diva, lol. I just think it messes up the game. They're atheletes, not actors. It's not right and just cheap imo.

lol I agree with you to an extent. It's competitive advantage. I don't like it; the same way I don't like diving in soccer. But when it's done in a key situation and helps you win, I can't really complain.

You can't really complain (if it's your team doing the flopping). But I hate it. It used to be difficult to get an And 1 play, but now it happens every three plays.

If you are Lebron and complain about nearly every single call against you when they may or may not flop, then you yourself should not flop. I just don't like how the officiating helps him out in so many ways. The game has changed and I don't think it is a good change.

My Celtics won without Rondo or Allen vs Hawks. I think we can go at least to the Eastern finales.
[/quote]

The Hawks are soft. Their best players are an ageing scorer and a jack of all trades that often takes bad shots.

Boston has a relatively clear path to to the Eastern Finals.
