This could be our KR/PR, the kid is lightning fast.
And there is our competition for Cundiff, hopefully it can bring him back to '10 form.

Speed doesn't mean he can be a KR. There are so many more factors than just speed.

Feel bad for him, actually. I think if that guy is ever going to be successful he needs structure and guidance, and up until now that's NOT been the Bengals M.O. Maybe Marvin thinks he's changing the culture, though.

James Carmon (OT) 6'7", 333 lbs. went to City. Now, we will have a Poly-City rivalry between Carmon and Williams on the team.

I think two of those OTs will be here, most likely one on IR and the other on PS. I would bet Lamont Bryant will also be here, again on either the PS or most likely the IR but I could see him be #3 if he looks good enough.

I have my doubts than Deonte makes the team. I see only one of these WRs making out team. We may keep one as a UDFA, but I could easily see that guy Bradley who made the PS from last year have a similar impact to Gorrer.

I am excited about this kicker/punter. I would be so happy if we could get one combo guy--a guy who could do both. That would be amazing. If we had a guy who could do kick-offs, field goals, and punts all in one we would have a very excellent player. Not sure that happens but that would be amazing.

I'm really hoping we can keep Lamont Bryant, he has potential.
He will probably become injured after the third preseason game. Injuries always seem to happen then to promising players.

Austin Johnson was both linebacker and FB in college.
Why did he fall so far? From the little I gathered on him he seems like a decent player.

Its cause teams can hold 90 players through OTA's and mini camp with the new collective bargaining agreement

He also played some special teams for them.

He did get a DUI but honestly, I'm not sure. He led Tennessee in Tackles 2 seasons ago and was the fullback for Montario Hardesty. He looks like a great special teamer, looks like an Edgar Jones.

Maybe because of lack of experience at LB? As a LB he had 4 interceptions, and lead the team in tackles. It doesn't seem like a lack of talent but I just can't find anything on him to find out. Kindle had a DUI and went in the 2nd so I'm not sure what it is. I guess it's just one of those guys that goes under the radar.

Interesting quote from Eric DeCosta on his livechat:
We haven't officially signed and UFAs so I can't specifically talk about them. But I will say we agreed to terms with a nose tackle from the MAC that we're very excited about.
Considering their history finding run-stuffing d-lineman, if the scouting department is excited about Kitchen, so am I.

I'll say that I didn't watch the whole thing, but I'm not all that impressed. While he lays out some good blocks, I doubt he's going to be able to do that against the bigger, faster guys in the NFL. Also, I noticed multiple times that he decided to block the wrong guy. There is some potential, but he makes some pretty poor decisions in my opinion.

Edit to add: He did look pretty impressive on the punt team. He did lay those guys out.

He won't make the team unless he outplays Leach so there's no point in getting excited because it's not going to happen.

Sorry for being so negative but it's just the truth with this business unfortunately.

Because the camp rosters were expanded, so teams are able to bring more players into camp. This means more cuts obviously, but it also gives a lot more of these undrafted guys a chance to make an NFL roster.

Quite true, but we can always stick him on the practice squad and see how he develops.

You're kidding. Some good blocks? He blew them up. Pancakes and crackbacks all over the field.

Well no one knows if he'd do that to bigger and faster guys in the NFL yet. Did anyone know if Leach would? Come on now! That's just common sense.

Blocking the wrong guy? Idk, unless you have a copy of their playbook, and the playcall you can't make a silly assumption like that. It looks to me like he blocked the right guy...

What poor decisions?

I like this guy. He's physical, aggressive, and a hitter. I'd love to practice squad this guy.

I think he is talented as well. I can see him make the team, honestly. What if Anthony Allen gets 'injured' in camp? Lots of things can happen between now and the season. I can see him make this team, and even if he doesn't crazy things have happened in camp. People have been injured after the 4th preseason game more times than I can count. It seems to be the time of year a lot of people get injured, if you catch my drift.
