I wonder if it was a choice or a resignation

I think it was both. Now he, Kirkpatrick, and the rest of the gang can chill on the weekdays. Maybe they will call Simpson to come over. I'm sad to see Sanu go there to the Bengals. He seems like a good human being.

Such a divide on O and D - guys like Dalton, Green, Sanu, Gresham vs Burfict, Maualuga, Pacman, Kirkpatrick, I know I'm generalizing the units but just something I noticed.

His career is dead now. Cincy is the worst place to try and get straightened out. He's a lost soul now.

I swear I didn't know he failed a drug test too. He did everything that you could possibly do wrong since the combine.

I doubt he amounts to anything. Especially with the Bengals. Dude has serious issues.

I can believe some of you guys still wanted him, the guy is a nut case, not the even close to the Ray Lewis replace we would be looking for, or even a back up to Jammel McClain

Some players should stay away from certain teams. Like Coples to the Jets. There are questions about his commitment at times. Going to the Jets is a bad situation for him to get committed. But neither he or the Jets know that. Because the Jets think they're awesome.

Burfict to the Bengals is in the same category.

This makes me sigh. I really wanted us to get him because I thought if anyone could straighten him out it would be us. I think he's just gonna be another Channing Crowder.

In reality we are linebacker deep so passing up on a player that we may already have is not that big of deal.
We have Ellerbe, McClain, Ray Lewis and some outside guys dropping back in coverage sometimes...

Jameel is the heir to Ray. Not necessarily in talent but in position and responsibility. Jameel played great when Ray was out last season and certainly put my mind at ease for when the GOAT retires. He knows the defense and showed he can lead the front 7. It also helps to have men like Ngata and Suggs watching your back.

He really does have no intelligence.

I'm telling you he was not on our board at all. Character concerns like that do not mix with the John Harbaugh era of the Ravens. I don't value character the way the FO has in his era, but Burfict's issue would have given me pause as well.

I hope the Bengals keep him! :landry:

They passed on him 7 times, shows how bad he REALLY is..
But it is Cincy, if anyone takes chances on deadbeats it would be them.

I agree and I am still not very high on him.
