Trade Up For Joe?

We don't even know if the front office was targeting Sanu. People are high on him, but it's definitely possible they moved up for Pierce.

idk..seems a little off to me, Im not reading anything special on Pierce unless the scouts for the Ravens were really impressed..its not like RB is a huge need so why give up a draft pick?

You mean Joe Adams? Don't need to trade up - he'll be there in the early fourth if we want him.

McShay seemed high on him, and he made a good point, if he turns out to be a good RB he'll be hitting his prime when Ray is on his way out.

Allen starting in camp, but If they took him this high (they took Rice in the second round, remember, and the last back we took before that in the first 3 was Musa Smith, who got injured) I have to believe they think Pierce might be the future number 2 back on this team. And you have a good point - in less than 5 years Rice will be 30.

i been high on joe adams since the start of mock drafts. i had him going in the 3rd to us. and it was between pierce and him. we have the 3rd pick in the 4th round i think he will be there

I think they took him based on how he compares to foster. An upright single cut runner with speed. Really fits our new zone blocking scheme.

dude he was regarded as a 2nd round pick

if he stayed for senior year he was for sure a no.1 i saw this kid live 3 times hes the real deal

With this pick, I think Ozzie will keep Joe over Rice cuz we can't afford 2 high paids after Webb's deal.

I guess Rice's contract is in jeopardy.....

bernard pierce reminds me of rashard mendinghall hes a talent with alot of getaway speed. hes a top rb and much better than lamar miller

CBS has him pegged as a third-to-fourth-round prospect. Regardless, I'll be rooting for the guy and hoping he proves me wrong and makes an immediate impact as a rookie. I know he's got talent; there are just a number of RBs I like more in this draft class.

I think it was the style of RB they wanted. Pierce is a bigger back good inside the 20. I'm a big U fan and I watched alot of there games and miller always came out inside the 20. Decosta already said they love pierce inside the 20 and inside runner

Ravens traded up for Pierce. They love him and power back is a huge need. Whoever wins it in camp.

As for WR to start the 4th I want Chris Givens. Nice speed player who should really help. Best WR left
