That should answer your question for you. You are voting, which means other fans are voting. And who has one of the largest fanbases in the NFL - the Steelers. But I think it's something like 1/3 fans, 1/3 players, 1/3 coaches voting, isn't it? So fan votes shouldn't matter.

I think it's 100% players, actually. The "voting" is just for fan rankings. The player rankings are the ones that are aired.

The formula you're thinking of is the Pro Bowl.

Oh. I was going to ask then why would they have a fan vote, but I checked it out and it seems like they're trying to get fans to create their own top list and see how it compares to the real thing.

Yeah, that's what they did last year - compare how the players and fans see the rankings.

I doubt Pouncey gets anywhere near Thomas in the actual list.

I reckon there will be 8 Ravens on the list: Big Ray, Little Ray, Ed, Sizz, Haloti, Webb, Leach, Yanda.

I didn't see Webb's name at all doing the fan voting, which is sad.

@hawkprey, Lardarius Webb is so underrated, unlike some other Baltimore Ravens. But hey, that's how Buddy Lee rolls! Here are my current top 10 (I'm still working on it!)
Player Vote ct. 1 A. Rodgers Packers, QB 22 2 L. Fitzgerald Cardinals, WR 17 3 B. Roethlisberger Steelers, QB 15 4 D. Brees Saints, QB 12 5 J. Witten Cowboys, TE 12 6 D. Jackson Eagles, WR 11 7 R. Rice Ravens, RB 11 8 G. Jennings Packers, WR 10 9 D. Ware Cowboys, DE 10 10 T. Suggs Ravens, LB 10

I hope I'm dreaming, but Tebow made the list.

http://www.nfl.com/top100/2012?module=HP11_cp#video=09000d5d828b8da6

At 95? Really? Maybe if it was 100 I could say they put him in to appease Skip Bayless or something, but AHEAD of 5 guys?

Now I know CJ2K had a bad year but damn dropped him to 100 and barely making the list while Tebow is in front of him? Also how is Marshawn Lynch only 94 on the list, this list is horrible already.

Wonder if Flacco makes the list - he had a statistically worse season but played better, imo, especially in the big spots. He's gotta be above Tebow lol.

Well Tebow is # 95 and Tony Romo is # 91, so we know Joe is ranked higher than both this year.

I just can't believe Joe Thomas is rated so low, one of the top Left Tackle in the league and is so low, he should be in the Top 30.

I'm expecting to see Flacco next time.

He's not going to be on there at all.

He was number 90 last year. After getting to the AFCCG and is signature drive against the steelers last year, I think that will be enough to keep him on.

I believe they mentioned all the QBs ranked in the top 100 in Tebow's segment and Flacco was not one of them. I'd have to double check though.

He was 90 last year and they already revealed 90-81, so he has to be higher up on the list and I really don't think he would be taken off.
