I'm too old for 'back in the day". No doubt this is homeristic nostalgia talking, but Spongebob IMO can't hold a candle to The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Guts, Hey Dude, Doug, and my personal childhood favorite, Rocko's Modern Life. Still, it's a good show.

It was on for waay too short a time, is what it was. Barely lasted 4 years, while "Teletubbies" (shudder), was on almost twice as long.

They actually show those on The N now and it's called '90's Are All That" and I watch it every night, and somehow within the first couple parts of the show it all comes back to me and I remember what happens in the show.

Spongebob is by far my favorite animated show. The newer episodes arent the greatest, but nearly all of the older episodes are gold.

Well actually the name of the channel is Teen Nick, and from 12-2am every week day they run Kenan & Kel, All That, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, or Doug.

We cant talk about cartoons and not bring up the forefathers. The Loony Toons. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner and Wile E. Cyotee. Foghorn Leghorn.
Seen this stuff a million times since I was a kid and I still laugh out loud. In my opinion it is and always will be the best cartoons ever.

I love Robot Chicken and my oldie is definitely Tom and Jerry!!

IMO Spongebob has so much adult content it isnt funny. I mean they work at the Krusty Krab in Bikini Bottom. Im almost certain his buddy Patrick bats on the other side of the plate. If anyone thinks this is the best cartoon ever, they havent seen many a cartoon
