Joe Flacco finally gets the respect he deserves and Skip Bayless even calls him elite this year. Sorry, I can't get much bolder than that.
Yesterday skip agreed with marcellus that joe is the man and has came to a whole new level because of the AFCCG. I think hes got a little more credit, but i think he needs to hit that 4k yard season with 30tds and 10ints for people to give him 2nd tier respect

Not sure if these are bold or not - perhaps wishful thinking.

Kruger has a big time year. Torrey Smith steps up and becomes a major NFL threat. Suggs repeats as DPOY. Joe Flacco is given the green light to run the offense. We end up with Harrison Smith, a 6'4"+ WR, an extra solid pass rusher, and much needed OL strength. RR gets a well deserved deal. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed retire as SB Champions.

IDK, I think even if his numbers are what they were in 2010, if he were to lead us to a Superbowl title ala Roethlisberger he'd probably get more respect. I know Eli needed 2, but if you look at his regular season numbers before and after the title, it's obvious he really struggled to be consistent until this season. Joe has improved in almost every season, so I think a solid year plus a title would do it.

McPhee gets double digit sacks.

Jah Reid steps in at LG and becomes a pro bowler in his first year there.

Ray Lewis wins DPOY in his final season.

You've been sipping purple koolaid with something strong in it haven't you?

I agree that 4,000 yards is a valid goal for this season.

I think it increases to 46 now so you can have the 3rd string QB as 'active'. He can now go into the game at any time without having to 'bench' the 1st and 2nd stringers for the rest of the game.
That must be the logic behind carrying a 3rd QB. Does anyone remember a game where 2 QBs went down on the same team? Someone once told me that it happened to the old Colts. That was way before my time. Calling on the geezers out there to help on this one.

Bold Pretdiction time! Laquan Williams shows up big time, all those flashes over big play potential we saw in the preseason take hold and he has at least 50 catches and over 1000 yards, second only to Torrey Smith. Joe Flacco roasts Pittsburgh in Heinz Field for 400+ yards, Pernell McPhee get 10 sacks at least, and Ravens lead the league in Interceptions Ed Reed 5, Ladarius Webb 6, Jimmy Smith 4, Cary Willams 2, Bernard Pollard 1, Ray Lewis 2, Terrell Suggs 3, Paul Kruger 1 Jameel McClain 1, and Ray Rice rushes for 1700+ yards

I predict that we draft Upshaw in the first and Jeffrey in the second. Of course, we may need to trade up to get him.

Gorrer and McAdoo step up throughout OTA's/training camp, and make a strong case for PT at their respective positions.

Jim Caldwell proves to be arguably our top off season acquisition as he helps Flacco sharpen his fundamentals. Joe will be doing all the little things better and faster, allowing him to put up top numbers consistently.

We will be just fine at Oline, though they'll have some up and downs.

Our special teams does a 180 and are in the top 10, greatly helping out the offense, also in top 10, and the defense, which will be in the top 3.

That's all I can think of for now, without repeating to much of what everyone else has said.

I feel a lot of people are underestimating McAdoo. I am so pumped for our defense this year.

My bold prediction is Cam Cameron will call the exact same plays and still be with us next year.

Bold Predictions

Pernell McPhee will get 10 sacks this year

Kruger/McClellan will replace JJ and do a fine job with very or little to no drop off, also with Kruger he will provide more pass rush potential.

Jimmy Smith and Webb will both make the Pro Bowl

McClain will lead the team in tackles, NOT Ray Lewis for the first time in forever

Torrey Smith will become the tru #1 WR on the team and have 1200 yards and 10 TDs

Ray Rice will have 1200 yards rushing and another 700 yards receiving becoming the only player in history to have done it 3 times passing Marshall Faulk...

Joe Flacco will pass for 4,000 yards and 30 TDs with his normal 10-12 INTs, he's never thrown for more than 12 and one year I think he threw only 8? ...not 100% on that

Ed Reed will get more INTs this year because teams think he's slipping, I'd say he gets around 5-7 INTs and returns at least 1 for a TD

Suggs will get another 13-15 sacks

The OL will become stronger than it was last year and Joe won't have to run for his life so much

BOLDEST PREDICTION - Cam will become less predictable in his playcalling and do more 3 WR sets and double TE formations taking advatage of Dickson and Pitta

Pitta will become the starter and get somehwere around 800 yards and 7TDs, Dickson as backup/co-starter will have 700 yards and 5TDs

Boldin will stay steady but no real improvement as he is on the downside of his career, it will be his last year in Baltimore

Ngata if he remains healthy will set a career high in sacks with 7, Cody will become a dominate force against the run

The Ravens facing this tough schedule will prove they are the best team in the AFC by going 13-3

Assuming he's still on the team, David Reed once again finishes the season with no receptions, but gets a TD on an end around.
If he stays healthy I think Reed could be that 3rd WR, I been saying it for years now but he always gets hurt...the he had those two fumbles and people really turned on him...I still believe in him but the Ravens aren't going to keep around a player who consistently gets hurt

i see what your saying, but i feel that if flacco doesnt drastically improve his numbers and lets say we happen to win the SB, i think credit will be taken away from him and it go to the defense. Thats why i think its cruicial for him to hit that 4k yard mark and 30tds to get the respect that most of us think he deserves. id love to see a 10% increase in completions though.

I think he's got a lot to prove this offseason. At this point I wouldn't consider it really bold to predict him not being on the team next year.

Ravens sweep our AFC North opponents, win enough of the other games to take the division, blow through the playoffs and AFC Championsip game AND THEN, whoop the pack at Festivus Maximus.

You wanted bold, you got it!
