Flacco Wouldn't Make It On Another Team?

Flacco is just ad bad as he is good IMO
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Is that another way of saying he is inconsistent? If so, that is debateable. He was up and down last year, but his career as a whole, he has been very consistent.

Yeah he's a QB that's what he gets paid to do buddy!
Then acknowledge his accomplishments instead of ignorantly bashing him with no good reasoning behind it.

I think Flacco says things just to screw with the media. He knows they are going to make a big deal out of anything he says in defense of himself, so I think he toys with them a little bit.

As for Flacco riding the defense and Rice....puh-lease! That is about an ignorant suggestion as a person could make.

How can you call Romo, Fitz, Matty Ice and co. Choke artists when Flacco is in the same exact boat. He's in the same tier as guys like Cutler, Romo, Sanchez.
Flacco is anything but a choke artist, regardless of how vehemently you try to deny it.

It baffles my mind how some people can make an excuse for anybody except Flacco. Rice is blameless, but Flacco isn't a franchise QB, yet one produces in the postseason, and one doesn't. Baffles my mind!

Wow all the "I heart Flacco" fans are here.
I denied nOthing and never said Flacco was a horrible QB and that I wanted him off my team. I just state the Obvious and i get flamed like Flacco has never had any faults and he was clutch in blah blah. He's an average QB who has the skills and traits o become great but hasn't put it together. As soon as everyone gets off the Flacco pony you'd all realize it.

Rivers did great with Cam Cam how come Flacco can't?
Tall WR's? Then what happened to SD last year. You can't point the finger at everyone except.
Ed and Ray's time is coming to a pro football end soon, Flacco needs to deliver.

That's exactly what your problem is. For someone who claims to spout the obvious, you sure can't see the obvious. Flacco HAS done very well with or without Cam.
Besides, that's just a ridiculous argument to even attempt to make, even if what you said were true. Our OL < SD OL. Ray Rice < LT. Pitta/Dickson < Gates. Our WR < SD WR.
Get the picture yet?

He "delivered" the ball right into Evan's hands.

And we're not flaming you, just pointing out that you don't present any real evidence to support your claim.

What puts him there? Winning more games then any other quarterback in history over his first 4 seasons?

Present evidence haha. I'm speaking my opinion you two can't handle it when someone talks about your precious QB.
Yeah Flacco delivered, delivered the ball right into Mayo's hands. Had the D not gotten the job done that last NE poss. Flacco wouldn't have had a chance.

You didn't state the obvious. You said he wasn't clutch. Defend your statement or gtfo. He was one of, if not the, most clutch player on the team last season.

As a team sure Flacco looks great with all those shiny "wins" under his belt.
But as a QB he's just an average Joe. Just a little better than Sanche
, be may even have more fumbles than Sanchez not too sure but you can't blame anyone else but Joe cool..

My question is why does Joe Flacco need these many threads if he is such an incredible QB? No one has said he is the worst QB, people just think he isn't a Top 5 or Top 10. There have been drops, there have been drops for every QB. He is better than most but not the best. The more you put him on a pedestal or talk him up, the harder the criticism.

Just drop it and let it be....let his performances speak for themselves, you think Phillip Rivers or Big Ben have this many threads proving their worth?

Except for, you know, the people responsible for protecting him? Its on all of them. He has to secure the ball better when he gets hit, and he DID as the season went on.

Flacco is the las player I would call clutch. He did his job against Pittsburgh that's what he gets paid to do. He tore up NE, so did other QBs. what the heck happened against Jacksonville, Seattle... Clutch? LMAO

Actually...yeah. Both of them have plenty of critics among their own fanbases. You think Rivers doesn't need a thread proving his worth after the season he just had?

And he tore up Arizona in the second half, and played plenty of other good games throughout the season.

He had to throw the ball on just about every single snap against Jacksonville. Show me a QB that consistently complete passes to 2-3 receivers against 6-8 DBs. I'll give you a hint: there aren't any.

Its really his fault Reed fumbled two kickoff returns and Cundiff missed 2 field goals too? Its his fault we lost to New England too, isn't it? Obviously he's supposed to make Lee catch the ball, and then go kick the FG for Cundiff.

No I don't because even in a bad year he almost has a 90 QB rating and the year before he had like 15 different receivers and still was effective.

My point was don't argue how great a player and let the performances speak for themselves.

Cam Cameron happened against Jacksonville. David Reed happened against Seattle.

So you're saying we have ONE OF the WORST blocking scheme, blockers, and O line in the NFL right now?
Stop twisting my words. Jesus, your reading comprehension is awful. Flacco was poor with ball security when getting hit at the start of the season. He didn't do a good job, and he lost a lot of fumbles. He got better at that as the season went on. It doesn't help that he gets hammered because our pass protection was shaky, again especially in the first half of the year with an out-of-shape, new-to-the-system McKinney and no Grubbs.

The amount of fumbles he has is also not the only thing that indicates his skills as a quarterback.

It does. He's a good quarterback who needs to take the next step to become one of the league's elite passers, and he's one of the better QB's in that group. Arguing he's not clutch, especially after this year, is absurd.

It is annoying that they don't let any criticism touch Flacco but will torch the rest of the offense but calling Flacco a "whatever you tried typing" isn't going to get you anywhere. Speak in facts not frustration.

All I can say is, Im glad we arent one of at least half the teams in the NFL, who start a worse QB than Flacco. We have it good.
