2002 Daunte Culpepper -knee injury, missed last five games of season, team losing record 5-11
2003 Marshall Faulk -injured ankle, rushing yrds. tanked, team losing record 7-9
2004 Michael Vick -fractured fibula, team record 5-11
2005 -(I can't even say it...)
2006 Donovan McNabb -sports hernia, team finished last in NFC East
2007 Shaun Alexander -broken foot, lost in Divisional Playoff game
2008 Vince Young -hurt quadriceps and was his first injury that ever kept him from playing in a game,
2009 Brett Favre -inconsistent play, off field issues, traded then retirement, then un-retirement, sexting scandal = hot mess
2010 Troy Polamalu/Larry Fitzgerald -TP knee injuries and team lost playoff game/ -Fitzgerald was lucky he was on with TP lol

2012 Peyton Hillis -contract issues, multiple injuries and declined play quality, bad season record for team

But that is a little more than coinky-dinky to me... so any Raven on the cover of Madden??? I say Hell to the NOOOOOOO!!!

Players are more open to injury after a great season because of all the pressure they put on their body (increased carries, usually playoff/Super Bowl players appear on the cover). Also, having a great year means they were uninjured the year that put them on the cover, so they played an enormous amount of snaps. Not only that but the players who appear on Madden are generally veterans and more prone to injury. Hillis was just your average one-year wonder with character problems. Curse solved.

Agreed lol it happens every single player that gets it. I would be worried if I was a GM and one of my players won it. At least if Rogers wins, then we wont have to here about him all the time anymore.

Curses are illogical (except for voodoo. You don't want to mess with voodoo). I would have liked to see Rice get this honor. But he put up a good fight and made us proud. I think Megatron pulls an upset next week and faces Cam Newton in the finals.

Missing the curse doesn't mean he's safe, it just means it's more likely that he's safe.
