Understandable. You just need to look at Matt Forte. Of course, you could also look at CJ2K for what happened after he held out. Hopefully we get this issue resolved before too long.

People are also not taking into consideration pass protection and receiving. RBs have to be the complete package.

I don't want LT at all. He'll be 33 for next season which is ancient for a RB. He's struggled to run for the last 4 years and was mainly used as a receiving threat as his career dies. I want a guy who can pound the ball in for the tough yard as that was a huge weakness last year.

I wouldn't mind giving Benson a shot and you want your 2 RBs to give different looks to the defense.

I say we just wait till the last minute and pick up someone for cheap after they realize that they don't have much value. I'd say LT or Benson.

Remember with some folks that if there's no link to an internet source then it wasn't said. Afterall, the internet is a trusted source.

I think they see what Allen and Berry has first. If they bring in a vet, it could be a much less name. Not wise to invest big dollars in a backup RB.

Do you think LT has 100+ rushes in him though or could fill in as a runner for a game or 2 if needed?

He's still a nice receiving threat but seems limited as a runner at this stage of his career.

I'd rather give Allen a shot and a chance to develop than go with LT

I don't think a guy like Benson would be that expensive. Maybe as much as the Ravens were going to give Ricky if he would have stayed. The best RB on the market who switched teams was Bush and his cap number is 2M for next year so not sure who's going to get big $$$ as a back up RB
