This probably doesn't belong here.. but we are on the topic of 'warning points'.... so I think it would be a great idea to explain the system eg. how many points until ban/suspension/post restrictions... and what types of offenses net more or less points than others. That is, I'm sure smack talking probably will get less than an actual threat... hope it never comes to that point, but still, it is the internet after all.

I'm looking at it now, I can't see who gave me the +/- but it does tell you which posts received a +/-

That's my understanding of it. Then again, all I see are zeroes everywhere on both given and received, so maybe it isn't fully working yet.

If you clock on the "0" on your post, it shows who neg'ed it and who plus'ed it. We are considering disabling this new feature.

But if someone makes a stupid comment or whatever, be it an attack they deserve to get negged, and I for one would often say ive negged a person of whatever and why. If you do it, no call to hide, if you make a stupid comment and get called on it so be it

I remember reading somewhere you can only give out two negatives a day, so that would significantly reduce the trolling.

You mean the age limit for how old you have to be to sign up on here? Well that would be too easy to get around, people would just like and put in a birthday that makes them seem older just to post. That wouldn't work for that reason.

I agree.. it'll cut down on the phantom troll negs as well, since they'll have to own up to it. Okay, I admit... I have been guilty of doing it as a joke like a month back for like one hour only... but it'll cut back on people who do it constantly.

Part of an interactive forum is taking the risk that your opinion may be rejected by others. If you aren't mature enough to accept this fact, then you should stick to posting useless nonsense on FB.

Negatives need to remain a part of the board... no matter what. Even if the rep system is taken away (the user names that give positives/negs being listed), negatives need to remain intact. Helps me skim through posts and know which ones not to read, or to read if I'm wanting to read a joke or something like that.
