Youtube Messed With Me Again

Like i said, got screwed again by Youtube or a STEALER FAN.

They removed my Stealer Raven game montages on youtube, that and the cardinals.

I have no clue why and not the others. Or maybe they will remove them too. If they do, im done making montages.

It's due to copyright. I made and posted two Ravens montages years ago and both eventually got removed. I'm on my last strike apparently!

Youtube is over sensitive in that regard. As soon as something is reported they remove it, often without even looking at it.

Its was in the Steeler Ravens round 2 video, they took it down. I dont want to repost the videos because they said they will take my account down.

Ugh I'm sorry to hear about that, Perk. Your videos are amazing. It probably was a Stooler fan. They've had Ravens fans' accounts shut down because they flagged numerous videos. Youtube is really starting to get lame.

Perk, since Baltimoreravens.com has been added to Youtube last week, and they asked in their request on this site for people to subscribe AND asked fans to add their own videos about the Ravens, perhaps they couldn't be taken down quite so easily if they were on youtube associated this site maybe? (Just thinking outloud for future reference here.)

Secondly, I have seen alot of your work (your editing) copied in other highlight videos, I wonder if they were taken down too? If not, then it wouldn't appear to be a copyright issue,(unless it is music related and some of that can be satsified under "fair use" act). If that is the case I would appeal to Youtube as it would most likely be wonky rival Steeler fans flagging those videos as inappropriate, as there wasn't any content in those videos that could be deemed as inappropriate to Youtube's standards. You do have that right Perk if you think your videos have been taken down in error. Youtube at least owes you an explanation.

Your videos were one of the reasons I made an account with Youtube in the first place and you were the first channel I subscribed to! Your video montages are one of my favorite things during the season, and I can't speak for everyone else on these boards, but I would certainly go to bat for you with Youtube!

It can't possibly be for video copyright, because if that was the case then 9/10's of the sports videos on Youtube would be taken down.

Honestly it happened to me. Two of my videos were up for over a year and they were eventually removed after a copyright claim by the NFL. Those were YouTube reasonings behind it via email! It puzzled me at the time too since there's plenty of highlights videos on there.

Oh I have no doubt you are telling the truth at all. It just seems a little wonky to me that out of all of Perk's videos posted that two of the Steelers were flagged, (and perhaps the Arizona one was flagged to throw Youtube off track), because this honestly smells of Steeler to me!!! I too find it absurd since over 3/4th's of the videos submitted to Youtube have clips made from NFL segements. It is just bizarre!!!

It is a shame too, because Perk does such a great job putting these montages together for the Ravens fans.

Where is the site for the BALTIMORERAVENS.COM YOUTUBE site, ill add it there along with all the other games of the RAVENS.

Do you have the link where it asks RAVENS fans for clips??? Glad you liked my vids, I think Youtube was starting to take notice of the Steeler videos because of how many views, i think they were close to 30,000, somewhere around there i think.

Oh and your right, aLOT , i mean alot of people were using my clips. I found 10 and that was just looking up videos. People were actually tagging my name so their videos would pop up when they typed in 82PeRK in the search Bar. But that didnt bother me, it was kind of a compliment honestly.
