I am confident in Allen but I am not very sure about their pass protection. LT would probably come cheap and could be a good receiving option out of the backfield.

I think this would be a great option. Catching the ball out of the back field is a big part of our game and I think LT still has a couple of good seasons in him. We could get him cheaper that Jacobs most likely and he seems like he would be an awesome role model for our younger guys, even RR. Get it done Ozzie.

It sucks LT never got a ring, but then that's what you get when you sign with them primadonna Jets.

Maybe LT can provide that nice and cheap insurance policy. LT was an all-purpose back and he's playing for a ring and probably don't care about the money. If LT comes cheap, I won't have any objection because injuries are part of the game and we need depth to overcome any issues like the Packers and Giants did when they had key players on the IR.

LT at this point in his career would be an excellent backup RB to Ray Rice. Hes a great locker room presence and could be another great mentor to Ray Rice. He will know his place in the offense and be happy to fill that role, God forbid Ray Rice ever got hurt he could help carry the load. Low Risk High Reward to bring LT in, Id be all for it.

I love A. Allen and D. Berrys potential most certainly. But would I feel comfortable at this point in having to depend on them? Maybe an unfair question seeing as we only have a small sample size, But no Im not comfortable with them as backups.

Benson is a good back, when he's not carrying 400 times because he really slowed down lately. But he does have burst and power for the ground and pound game when fresh. Could be a good low risk signing. But then Cedric Benson wants money. If the Bengals let him go, then everyone knows he's done as a bellcow RB.
