Nike To Release "Updated" Uniforms On April 3rd at 11AM

I know a long time ago there was a thread about the "leaked" unis that lead to being confirmed to be false, and we've had plenty of uniform change discussions over time, but with the official date set to be on April 3rd, my question is, What Changes, if any, do you predict you will see when the uniforms are released? I'm very excited because I'm a big Nike fan over Reebok and I think that with the right creativity, yet simplicity, these new looks could be very sharp.

My Predictions:

1. More Black Will be incorporated in the Jersey: I'm really hoping this is one of the changes that benefits the look of the jersey. Some people aren't a fan of the Oregon style "wings" on the shoulders, but personally I think black shoulders with purple wings would be sweet.

2. More "Traditional" Number Style: This is what I'm lobbying for most. I have never been a fan of how numbers look on a Ravens jersey. I'm one that likes the Varsity Style font that teams like the Patriots, Panthers, Seahawks etc.. currently use. It gives a much cleaner, sharper appearance.

3. Helmet: Honestly, I don't see any changes coming to the helmet. I like the black helmet and I don't see anything that would improve the way it looks as it is. I can't think of a facemask color that would look good but that is why they pay the Nike Designers money to do what they do best.

Pants: Would love to have a primary black pants with purple stripe. I've always like the Ravens wearing the purple on black almost as much as we all love the Black on Black. White would be the best choice for away games.

Overall, I don't think there will be mind boggling change to the current unis that the team sports, but, I could see an opportunity for a few nice tweaks that will have our team in purple and black looking sharp on Sundays.

Uni's are fine. Just start wearing the white on white combo again. The black pants look terrible with the purple top.

Id like to a Purple/blueish helmet, Black uni with white pants kinda like PIttsburghs retro steelers look, for primtime/late season home games. Id at least like the number on the black unis to be purple.
I do like the purple/with black combo, I know its not the most popular but I think it looks cool and rather unique compared everyone else unis.They dont look nearly as bad as they did 15 years ago.

Im pretty excited to see what Nike will do with our uniforms, Gotta trust that they know what will look good. With our logos we have so much potential to have sick unis though. I do think that they will potentially revamp our numbers, its probably time for a change there.

Cant wait to order my Lardarious Webb jersey when its all done. Black jersey of course for I am a huge fan of the all black look. I dont share the opinion that its too common, for we look the best in it hands down. Black on Black, White on white is the way to go.

From what I've heard from a source that is within the NFL's marketing department, the material will change and for the most part the jerseys will look the same. However, Nike will be charging 120.00 for the least expensive uni which is gonna make me pay for the 50% off reebok jerseys even more.

Looks the same but costs more...I'm sure they'll be flying off the shelves.

I hope that they do look good though. I'll just have make sure I get online before all of Reeboks jerseys are gone.
