The '76 Raiders were 17th in scoring defense and 5th in scoring offense. The Ravens were 14th in scoring offense and set the record (for 16 games) in scoring defense. Not only that, the Raiders were nearly eliminated from the playoffs in the first round. Greatest team ever? I don't know. But the Ravens are the better team in this last round.

I'm surprised the Ravens got this far, but man that would be a great Super Bowl matchup. I have trouble beleving anyone could score much on that 2000 Ravens D especially when they got on their roll. While some may look at the 49ers victory as an anomaly I don't. I've argued for years that the 2000 Ravens D was the greatest of all time, even better than the 85 Bears and 78 Steelers.

Whatever the outcome the Ravens fans know the 2000 Ravens were VERY special. What we did with a unproven QB was thrilling. The defense carried us all year and few teams can accomplish that. Go Ravens.

I will be on this a lot the next two days as well. Tomorrow afternoon I will try and nerd it up heavy like i did yesterday afternoon to help with the come from behind victory. These Raider fans pulled off the same kind of victory that we did though so it may not be so easy. Add all of the Ravens haters that don't believe we deserve to be there too and we have our hands full. We are going to need a lot of people to help out on this, but it's totally possible.
