Votes for the greatest team(s) of all time.

Lets get the Ravens the recognition they deserve! Greatest defense of all time! Figures we go against the undefeated Dolphins in the second round. I think it would be a much more obvious choice if we had any type of offense lol but I still think they would beat the Dolphins especially if it was in this era with the rules and how fast pace the game is now.

Not saying its the greatest team of all time. Its the title of bracket. Still doesn't mean we can't vote for them against teams we think they would beat.. to at least get them into the later rounds. And IMO they would beat the Dolphins in this era. You don't have to agree.

They might not be the greatest team of all time, but with that defense there is a good chance they would beat any team they went up against.

Well, what teams were undeniably better than our 2000 team? I will take that team against ANY team to ever step on the field and feel confident. We certainly deserve to be at least mentioned with the all time greatest teams.

If we are talking about "paper champions", there were more well rounded teams. But when you are that dominant on one side of the ball (see 2000 Ravens, 2007 Pats), paper crowns don't mean jack.

Also, why are the 49ers team all facing each other? Same as the Steelers? The Patriots got the teams spread out though, they aren't very special compared to the 2000 Ravens.

That Defense along with our current offense, we should've won couple Super Bowls already.

At least I have to give credit that our OC Cam, along with his dumbfounded playcalling, still better than that 2000 Offense.

I'm just thinking about during Lewis era.....

Back to the original 2000 team, I think we should be on the list of one of the best teams in the NFL history......We deserved it....

If we ever want to be the most dominant defense in NFL again; we need to retain a must player like Webb and draft well this year......

We need a good draft for LBs and OTs cuz I think Webb will be Reed's successor; the guy has amazing skill sets and talents to play any secondary position.

I think Reed is the happiest guy when he sees his creator, Webb roaming for punishing opposing QBs.....

Our defense are getting younger and better, and that's what I'm most happy right now.....

The draft can't come anytime sooner.....


PS: Ozzie, use your magic wand to lock up Webb first and then continues down on your most priority list....

Just to find out which of those teams is the best. It wouldn't really be fair to pit all of the Steelers, 49ers, and Patriots teams against the other teams, because then it would be almost guaranteed that one of hose teams won. By finding out which of those teams is the best, you can level the playing field in a way.

Well-rounded teams suck anyway. Great teams have one area where they excel, even if another area isn't so good. And defense wins championships. So it's only natural that the greatest defense would be in the running for the greatest team. If we're talking abut best team at the time of the Superbowl/playoffs, the 2000 team is definitely up there. Only one TD in 4 playoff games?

The problem with that is the Bears had an offense. They IMO had the 2nd greatest defense with a better offense. I couldn't vote the Ravens against them. If it were defense vs defense then yes I'd take the Ravens. But the defense comparison won't be put to rest due to the offenses. The Bears are going to win the whole bracket.

Edit: I think both Ds would shut down the offenses and it would come down to turnovers. But when people look at it as an overall team the Bears are the more logical choice.

Not bad beiing the lowest seed left being the 9th seed. Even though the 2000 Ravens didn't have an offense to help put it over the top, the defense was plenty enough to be considered in the same breathe as one of the greatest ever.
