Did that just happen this weekend? It almost looks fake. I am in awe that a ref on any level would do that. It wasn't by accident.

It's obvious that the SEC officials were trying to ensure that LSU would remain undefeated, thus enabling them to play for the National Title.

This was slightly less obvious with the Big Eat officials last year when Pitt beat WVU to close the season. It was only slighlty less obvious cause the refs never got physical with the players on Pitt.

No the headline on Yahoo read ref tackles high school QB when I first posted. Then they changed it. I dont follow college football, so I wouldnt have recognized the mistake, like you would have Jon.

refs are getting worst all over. i play basketball in this league and the refs are just as dirty. i have to go see the docs on monday because my knee got messed up on a drive in the lane where i got undercut and landed wrong and there was no call. if my team wouldnt have called a time out i would have still be on the ground.
