mike adams fits that bill

Honestly I don't think he will be there, even though his stock has fallen a little.

He'll be around at 29 I think, but I don't think we'll take him.

How about we use Oher as a center? He can't easily jump offsides if he's hiking the ball.
I don't think he is smart enough to be center.

Nah, then we'd have to find his replacement in a couple years again anyway. The interior linemen in this class is pretty deep; now'd be a good time to snag one for great value in the 2nd or 3rd
The average NFL career is 4 years and the draft is often a crapshoot, it's also very rare for a rookie guard to be dominant in his first few years. Mathis also has low tread on his tyres.

Honestly we play defense lets stick to what we play.

You've said some goofy things, but this may be the dumbest thing I've ever read.

Lol. I laughed out loud at this.

Can we use Haloti Ngata, Cody, & McPhee as our offensive line? I mean, if they can play defensive line then the transition shouldn't be too hard, right?

Git-R-Done Ozzie, bring in Mathis and re-sign Birk and our offensive line will be set!

Apparently he's giving our team the first chance to make an impression, the only issue I see is money and his rat scumbag agent Drew Rosenhaus.

He should fire him, ask McGahee. Drew is the worst agent in the world.

I think Jimmy Smith & Torrey Smith have him as their agent, though...

Resign Birk and package him and Oher for a 5$ footlong with cookies. Doubt Subway would approve the trade though.

I'd much rather have Winston than McKinnie or Oher. Let's bring in Jackson at center to go with Mathis. Two for one deal.
Winston is a beast like Mathis. Do you think we could trade Oher for a 4th round pick?
could probably get a 3rd for Oher

That way we could draft a center like Molk and save our first pick for a receiver or LB.

I see his trade value being a 3rd. Maybe we could trade him to the Rams or the Dolphins. Both of those teams need RTs & have some picks to work with. Their 3rd round picks are pretty high, too.

So Let's see....

Carl Nicks $9.5 M
Ben Grubbs $7 M
Evan Mathis ???

If we sign him under $6 M, that could be a bargain, so we can focus the draft on a LB, C, OT, or WR.

McNeil (or Bell) Mathis Birk Yanda Winston

I know it almost impossible but a man can dream.

Not that unrealistic. I could see us sign McNeil, Mathis, & even Winston. Mathis & Winston are already coming here for visits apparently. Nothing has been set with McNeil, but I would bring him here (see my signature). I think McNeil could be had for a very reasonable contract due to his injuries. Mathis & Winston seem like they want to play for contenders & would be willing to sign for a very reasonable deal. In that situation, Oher would be traded for a 3rd round pick as far as I am concerned. It wouldn't be bad to keep him around for insurance, though. I mean, if McNeil isn't fully good to go or has another injury we at least can plug Michael there.

Regardless, I would love that o-line. Not really a big fan of Konz, but I would take Blake, Brewster, Molk, & Vlachos.

Yet, I feel Flacco will still get sacked cause he needs 8 seconds for Torrey to get open 50 yards deep or Anquan to finish his Stick route. He does have Ray Rice on a wheel route covered by 3 guys.

Why has everyone already given up on Oher? The guy had potential to be a great LT, or at least a solid RT. We took a risk on the falling talent who could've been big. 3 years in and he's at least a serviceable RT with some lapses. Maybe He finally gets his act together and become a Franchise LT.

Little Bit of exaggeration there.. Even I could run 50 yards in 8 seconds

No.

Rather put Floyd out on the field, than have Konz at center as our first round pick.

Maybe he finally gets his act together, or maybe he kills Joe Flacco. I like Michael Oher's story as much as the next guy, but I think he is nothing more than a RT. I think he could be a very good RT, and I love the fact that we would be able to plug him into any line position except center (he's not smart enough to play center), but outside of that I don't see much value in him.

I wouldn't mind having Oher stay as RT if he could be improved. I think he would make a very good RT. I don't think he has what it takes to be a LT, though.
